It was a chip shop with a Chinese takeaway as far as I remember, not been for years though because it wasn't all that good and I'd not be surprised if its closed.

How and why do you know this kind of information? I've googled what a Gok Wan is and now I do have a vague idea, yet you seem to even know what its parents do. Did you study pointless media whores at college?

So little happens in this county that every time his name is mentioned the local media seem to have to refer back to his parents' chippy. Even I know about them and I have never watched a Gok Wan programme.

Rather surreal.
I walked into the Wigston Records Office this afternoon and bumped into about the last person i'd have expected to see...Gary Lineker.
I shook hands and said 'nice to meet you' before continuing into the building rather stunned.
He was with a BBC camera team and i believe you will see him on 'who do you think you are ' whenever it comes out.
I noticed on signing out, that he had signed in directly below my entry. All rather bizarre, but an enjoyable moment for me.
