against hartlepool he was billy ray shitrus.
he moaned at the ref all game despite blatantly fouling his man as he hasn't got a leap proportional to his size.
his link play is alright, but when speed of though is called for ie one two's or give and goes. he often dwells too long.
Fryatt is similar in his indecisiveness sometimes, but has the benefit of having much better feet and spacial awareness than Howard.

In Howard's defence: Adams isn't a great deliverer of a ball from the right in the air, and dyer is not a touchline hugger, playing something more like an inside left (very effectively). Gradel is perhaps the winger that gives Howard the best chance.

don't talk shite, Fryatt is one of our worst players this season, and don't come back with the bollox of his goals either. He should be well into double figures if he was any good and took say 1 in 10 of the chances that have fell to him......

no he hasn't.
that would mean that he's had 70 chances so far this season.
which he hasn't.
he's not top quality, but he's near to being the best in the division.
howard on the other hand has been more dissapointing.

I bet the **** is not far off it. Have you seen him play much this season?

How many games have you been to this season :102:

Fryatt has scored a few, no one is denying that, but like BG said, he would be well into double figures had he put away just half of the chances he's missed so far.

He's looking sharper, but still as woeful in front of goal as he's always been since he joined.

i've been to tranmere, hartlepool, leyton orient, milwall and fulham so i've seen him play well and i've seen him play poorly. and i've seen enough to have a strong idea of how the players are doing on the pitch.
he's not getting a great deal of quality assistance off Howard who should be playing him in more, creating more space for him and giving him more to work with.
NOBODY scores half of their chances, not even Pele.

People who know little about football miss the importance of the small things that Howard does for this team.

Without him we would be very very weak in attack.

And people who know even less are unable to tell us.

TBF though, that could also be down to lack of intelligence.
