And reported elsewhere that the Premier League will be withholding the £9M parachute payment that is due at the end of this week.

Oh Nigel - what have you let yourself in for?

What a berk... I can understand him leaving to be fair to him and I respect the job he did for us but it still baffles me why he went there. They also flogged their No.1 keeper to WBA the other day. I think he would have been in with a good chance of the Fulham job personally...

Real possibility of Administration according to Hull city footymad website

The source of the story is Radio Humberside, but the club have denied it.

HULL City owner Russell Bartlett has exclusively spoken to the Mail to deny reports the club is set to be plunged into administration.

Reports on Radio Humberside tonight claimed the Tigers were on the verge of entering administration because the Premier League will withhold their first parachute payment of £9m.

But Bartlett has tonight told the Mail that is simply not true, meaning City will not kick-off the new Championship season with a ten-point penalty when they face Swansea on Saturday.

Brilliant news, I hate Hull and this wouldn't be the worse news ever. I do however feel for the fans of any club who go in admin but it is Hull so **** em.

Serious question. Why would the Premier League withold the parachute payment? What's the reasoning for that?
