And to make matters worse, in the last half an hour I saw a fantastic free-kick taken by Alan Sheehan and a wonderful run to the byline followed by a lovely ball into the box by Darren Kenton.

And DeVries is probably on fire too.

I can't believe I went out in a blizzard to watch that!

I don't understand the formation, Howard seemed to be playing up top on his own for most of the game. The only player who got up close to him was Hendrie. Fryatt and Hayles were out on the touchlines for most of the game.

I thought against WBA we played two up front with Fryatt just behind. What's the point in putting the same team out if you change the formation?

He scored the second for Dundee United today.

Outplayed really....but I still say if that goal hadn't gone in for Hull when it did. It would of been a draw. Apart from Crapham and Henderson's for his attempt to save their second, I wouldn't point fingers at anyone. Just a complete lack of working as a team and unit.

Why the feck did Holloway put Clapham back in? Anyone noticed all of their stuff in the first half came from the right wing? Then his complete lack of defence led to their first goal.

Got to ask some serious questions about IH's tactical nouse today.

Playing 4-5-1 at home is awful. I thought it would be 3-4-3, but it wasn't. In the first half, the only player with any sense of purpose was Hayles on the left. At half time, he moved him into the centre. Absolute madness.

Fryatt on the left wing was a fecking dreadful decision. Likewise attempting to make N'Gotty into a midfield general. Why play 3 of your 11 out of position when there was absolutely no need? Cuckoo.

Hull's main threat was from Campbell yet we left him unmarked all match. Our defenders seemed intent on playing silly buggers with Windass instead. Amatuerish behaviour.

The distribution from the defence was abysmal. Totally unforgivable. The only difference between them and a back four of ten year olds was how far they could kick the ball. They should be deeply embarrassed or they have no grasp of reality.

Henderson made fairly straightforward saves look harder than they were (apart from one excellent stop). He was awful in conceding the penalty and awful for their second goal.

All in all, bunch of fecking halfwits, led by a gormless prick watched by 30,000 saps. Again the best we could muster was a gentle boo at full time. We should have been waiting for the feckers outside with rotten veg and foul mouthed abuse.

For those that weren't there, trust me, we are fecking awful. If we survive playing like this, it will be an absolute miracle.

He too had a good game breaking up play, but his passing was woeful.

TBF, there was some nice passing to begin with, but they just have no bollocks to push forward. The moment the opposition start to play, we become nervous.

Hayles had a super game today IMO and I'd like to give him special credit. Having said that, he still achieved the same as the rest of them....FA!!!

I'd agree with you on both points. Sadly I reckon Hendrie should have been given his marching order for his attempt on a tackle on Pedersen in the last minute. I defend Hendrie because every time he got the ball, no fecker wanted it.

... preventing them from taking an automatic promotion place. That should make it interesting to get back to the cars!!

I can see it now, Stoke need to win to get automatic promotion.
All other results having gone our way the week before, all we need to do is make sure we don't lose..........it'll be live on Sky as well.

It was fun last time we stopped Stoke's promotion challenge:icon_eek: Can just imagine how much they'll love it if we do the same again.

It would be worth all the fingernail biting and stress just to stop them going up....

I wouldn't mind taking a beating and a black eye off those Stoke cnuts, if it meant us staying up and them going down.

I think I'll pass on the beating and black eye..I'll just laugh and wave at the wassocks as our coaches go by...then duck when the bricks come our way!

:icon_lol::icon_lol:

I had an argument with my Dad pre-match away against Stoke because he parked at the other dad of the stadium from the away end. I tried explaining to him, I didn't want to get 'done in' by the idiots. They ended up winning 4-2 and we left 5 minutes from the end.

I once went to see Brizzle City away at Stoke in the away end. I think the actions I seen after the game from both sets of support ranks as the worst I have ever seen at a footy match.

I would quite happily have taken 3 points out of the W.B.A/Hull games.

Holloway thinks he's a tactical genious whereas he's a half-witted clown. 3 men out of 11played out of position. Fryatt on the left wing... pure genious. With Hume not an option on the wing Hollowbrain had to work really hard how to put out a formation that would not work so he came up with how to screw up Fryatt and the team. He's doing really well at getting the best out of the boys isn't he? He's From the same school of woefullness as Peter Taylor.

The man's a joke.

Sorry consty but someone had to do it... I crown you the pure genius of this forum! :icon_bigg

In the past four seasons we have been beaten at home in the league by the following teams:

Blackpool
Burnley (three times)
Plymouth
Preston (three times, plus once in the fizzy cup)
Hull (twice)
Brighton
Rotherham
F****t
QPR (twice)
Luton

Plus loads more, obviously.

Now maybe I'm being a Big-time Charlie, but IMO we shouldn't even be playing most of these teams!

And it doesn't bode well for our three remaining home games against the bottom three, does it?

What a fecking shambles! How did we get to this point? :bang:

What a load of shite that was. Not one of those players gives a toss, I bet most of them see themselves playing in the Championship next season, especially if, or probably when, City are relegated out this division. If they can't raise their game against a promotion chasing side, what chance have we got against our fellow strugglers?
