8 points off the playoffs, 11 points off the relegation zone, 20 points off top spot ;)

Up to 16th. :icon_bigg :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_bigg :038: :038: ;)

Regardless of what we have had and what is coming up 10 points from 12 is great. It gives us a nice confidence boost and takes some of the pressure off us.

Now if only the club could fix that thing I am not going to talk about anymore...you know, the thing with the rich bloke who would like to spend more time with us.

Fix that and we are laughing.

FIX IT!

Just got back from the match. Very satisfying performance all round, though shame about some of our finishing (ref: Hammond and Hughes). Williams was immense, probably the best i've seen him play.

Didn't see it or hear it, so nothing to add there.

But 10 out of 12 and a much healthier league position. Just waiting for the next bad run to start now.

Good 3 points, but nothing short of expected

Williams was a class act today, cracking goal and ran the midfield for much of the game. If only Hughes could have put the ball away after a fantastic build-up, Arsenal-esqe!

This post gladdens the very cockles of my heart. :icon_bigg ;)

It is warming my cockles too, although it goes without saying that we played a demoralised Hull that are probably shoe-in's for relegation. If Williams couldn't perform against them then we really would have to question his worth.

Here's to hoping he can use this as a spring board to go on to greater things against decent opponents - if he dominates the midfield over the next two games then I'll start joining in the praise.

people have been giving him good reviews for 4 or 5 games now. wonders will never cease

good on the lad.

they beat Cardiff 4-1 and given our track record against poor sides, you couldn't take this one for granted. Williams has been questioned for commitment in the past but this is obviously the kind of game he needed to perform in.

also can it be true that Fryatt made an impact as sub and set up a goal :icon_eek:

Rejoice. I believe this is our first win on Boxing Day since 1998.....

And before this year we 've only had one win over Christmas (QPR 1-0 3rd Jan 05) since 2000/01

i can see where people are coming from with the comments about hull being weak etc but over past couple of seasons we have often failed to beat teams that are not as good as us on paper/on form so im taking a lot of heart from our recent wins.

I'm gutted to have missed the game, but delighted to have got the 3 points. Bring on the Saints on Saturday!

often the xmas period is the time that will make or break your season lets hope the next two games go well (draws imo would be going well) and then it will be the making of our season.

And only our second since we won in Brian Little's first season in charge in 1991

I stand by to be corrected....

Think I went to that when I was 6.

Was it the 2-1 vs Brighton, who played in a red kit.

Ali Mauchlen scored a good goal for us.
