Whether you like it or not, he is out top goal scorer this season - hence he is always going to be appreciated by certain fans irrespective of performance to a certain degree.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for him to be appreciated in the way that he is, in fact I would normally encourage it.

I do however, feel sorry for the other players who give just as much as Hume for zero recognition. Why do you think he runs out from the tunnel about five seconds after the rest of the team? IMO it's to receive his very own special applause and not be part of the team's reception.

Iain Hume would be the first name on my team sheet, but up front, and I'd tell the cnut to stay right away from the midfielders, defenders, the crowd, and to stamp out his spoilt brat antics.

fcuk me, thats not a hard thing to do is it? He should have added at least another 2 to that total yesterday, but he must have read Akinbiyi's book on shooting the previous night.

IMO if that happened he would be a city legend

Wasn't at the game yesterday but after what I have read in the papers and on here, seems like we we a little unlucky not to get all 3 points.

Paul Merson was commenting on it live on SSN and it sounded like we were all over them like a rash! Same old story though, 4 strikers on the pitch and no goals!

It wasn't bad luck that cost us, it was bad finishing.

Bristol hit the post and the crossbar, so you could argue that they were unluckier than us. We got nowhere near the post and the crossbar.

Yes- to hear these comments about bad luck you would think that finishing ability was something different to playing ability. A miserable 34 goals this season tells its own story.

No side in the division has scored less goals; just two sides (both with no money) have won less matches.

Looked more like petulance to me, but hey-ho!

Think you'll find its small man syndrome! Still don't think he is allowed on the rides at Alton Towers hence why he is so angry.................

In the premier lge you often get 5 or less chances in a whole game. On that basis it would take Hume until about April to get his one and only goal for the season. I say get rid.

he kicked the boards right in front me - his face was full of anger at lets this shows passion

If you are over that side Scarbs - what was that bloke of ours saying to Trundle when he was warming up? Seemed to be shouting at him for ages and Trundle and his other team member were laughing at each other over it.

We are sitting in 21st position in the championship with 9 games to go. Is this really the time to start moaning about fans supporting a player while he's on the pitch?

I dont give a feck if he deserves his chant or not, while he and the rest of the players our on the ptich then they need all the support they can get.

Some people really need to get a grip.

He told him to pick the litter up off the pitch cos its all he's fit for.

I suspect he's also our top goal misser as well. The amount of goals he scores is of little benefit, it's the amount that he has missed that has made the difference to this season (and last).

This is really starting to piss me off. For Fox Sake I couldn't believe Etuhu won a ball took on 3 players, played a perfect ball to Hume, he hit it miles past the post and the twat faced fans chant, "huuummmme."

One other thing that pissed me off, is the ***** who get substituted, who applaud the fans and waste 5 minutes strolling off the pitch at 0-0.

I applaud you. Same for the morons who chant for Matty Fryatt to come on as sub. Yes, that'll help out the players up front.
