I wonder if anybody is the slightest bit interested whether it is Grayson or not!

Re: It IS Grayson !

MM and Grayson to thrash out details tonight after PNE game, most likely announcement will be made Thursday, MM would like to keep Burrows but will not let the right man slip from his grasp, hence the stalling tactics until after tonights game , still wouldn't be surprised to Taggs take a more active role tonight.

If this is true then MM and Larry need to do some major wheeling and dealing. They need to ship out the shite and bring in some quality.

If it means we go downwards before we go upwards so be it.Im sick of treading water season after season with the deadwood that we have.

Its time for MM to stop pussy footing around and sort this ship out

Re: It IS Grayson !

With regard to the debate on who is more important, the manager or the players IMO they are equally important. A manager can work out tactics and motivate players or make crucial substitutions but it's the players who carry out the instructions on the field. Both have their parts to play. And neither can be successful without some sort of co-operation from the other. Also fans have a part to play in a team's performance. Teams have been known to lift with support from the fans.

Regarding the appointment of Grayson I'm not fussed either way. There are those who seem to think that ex players make better managers but realistically I haven't seen much evidence of that. We're only 3 points from the drop zone and this game against Preston is crucial for us. I hope the lads can win it and get us up the ladder a bit. I think automatic promotion may be beyond our reach, not impossible statistically but improbable. However if we can win a few straight we should be in the play-offs and that's about all we can realistically expect this season in my opinion. :icon_conf
