Talking of vulnerability at the back. Did anyone see B'ham Wolves last night.

That was first versus second. We need to strengthen but not that much they were both sh1te last night. This squad is capable of surviving in the Championship.

Promotion next season is unthinkable though.

Leeds won't win tonight plus they bottle on the big occasion.

Obviously Hazzman, i wouldn't to challenge your expertise at predicting results......so I take it that it's just a blip that they are two up with 30 minutes remaining. I expect that at any moment now we can expect the O's to knock in 3 or 4.

But my experience is that at this time of the season, in-form teams looking for a result tend to get it when playing teams who have nothing inparticular to play for.

Let's hope that your second assertion is a bit more viable.....i.e. it's a "big occasion" next Monday and we can't afford to get beat.

:018: 2-2 now.

man utd fans look absolutely gutted about their 2-2. they should try being a league one club!

leeds with 5 games left and 11 points behind us...

Thank you - and an award that is richly deserved after all these years.

There I was feeling smug and self-satisfied and something like that happens.

Still I think that this may have been a rather more important piece of good fortune for us than many realise. Leeds were undoubtedly on a charge and they are going to be haunted by the late, late show last night.....more so than me.

Quite right, it should take the wind out of their sails a little bit.

It should still be ok - but our vulnerability in a very poor division suggests that we would be easy prey for the better and the more physical sides in the so called 'Championship'.

It's probably a good thing that we have learned our limitations at this stage and would be in our interests to go up in 2nd place aware that new and better players (plus good quality) loanees are essential for further progress.

Your final paragraph is the only positive I take out of the last few weeks poor form. There are now two key elements to Championship success:

1) Get Promoted in whatever way we can
2) Mando backs NP with money and we make some top notch permanent and loan signings for next season
