After twenty games under the buffoon Levein last season:

Played 20
Won 5
Drawn 9
Lost 6
Points 24
Position 14

After twenty games under 'he's such a nice man' Kelly this season

Played 20
Won 5
Drawn 7
Lost 8
Points 22
Position 19

The common denominator being Kelly maybe he's been the problem all along...

To be fair to Kelly he did a fantastic job at the end of last season. He saved us, there is no doubt about that. This season though we look like a different side to the one that finished last year with pretty much the same players.

I personally like Kelly but it has got to be said we have been poor all season. They showed how well they could play at the end of last season and they are not doing it now. That shows he's not getting the best out of the players. A change of boss could be on the Horizon me thinks.

Also lets keep our fingers crossed that the MM thing goes through because otherwise we are going to be in a terrible mess again

But not before Crimbo

The current Board are too gutless to do it now - and they can't afford to do it anyway. Plus who on earth would come here without a guarantee of some cash from Uncle Milan ?

We are therefore stuck with what we've got 'til Santa has emptied his load down your chimneys

I agree

Absolutely, I would have thought that for once the position is crystal clear:

1. The current board is now finito in terms of decision making - it wasn't any use to us before and now its hand is thrown in.

2. No significant decisions can be made until it is (hopefully) confirmed that MM is taking over .....should that fall throught then I think catastrophe and the hopelessly misguided like the FT will soon understand the errors of their ways.

3. RK was never right for the job; isn't right for the job and needs to move on to a less challenging role.....elsewhere.

4. The squad is dreadful....and it's going to take a long time (given that we can't expect massive funding) to turn things round.

As I said a few weeks ago, we are now in limbo...and we just have to hope that we don't get too deeply into the relegation situation before help arrives.

I thought that but why the Fuccillo appointment yesterday:icon_conf

Fair point.

I can only assume that it's been done on a 'needs must' basis as a precursor for trying to bring in some better quality players.

I somehow don't think that anyone believes that there is much to get out of the present lot..... at best they would just about scrape clear of relegation thanks to the likes of Hull and Southend but I don't think we could rely on Leeds to make the third.

Newton said on another thread it was a recommended appointment by MM.
