MM will be a step in the right direction for the club, but imo even with him we could still face a relegation scrap for the rest of the season. Any new players coming in even if they are better quality will still need to settle at the club. It dosen't always click from day 1 and our improvement is more likely to be gradual rather than instantaneous. The managerial question that faces the club will be one of the most important decisions that the club will have had to have made in recent times.
On the current situation there are obvious deficiencies within the squad we have, but just because we are having a 'mare' are we as bad as we think.
This is the side that only 5 games ago had me thinking as well as others that we had turned the corner, its also the same side that most people praised to the hilt for giving Villa a good run for their money in the cup.Sometimes in football only minor things need adjusting for the formulae to improve. Imo the squad is short of at least one quality player in every department, but with the retention of the right players we should improve without having to get rid of the whole team. For the record i believe we will need a new manager because RK is too inexperienced to manage our club at this crucial time in its history. I don't believe people should slate him though. I think he could do a reasonable job, but not at this level and not at this time for our club.

That's the most sense I've read in any of the 534 threads discussing the same subject over the last 24 hours.:038:
