Right, I'm obviously missing something here. I've been asking the question since January and I still haven't had a satisfactory answer. So I'll ask it in a different format.

Why should Ian Holloway be our Manager for the 2008/2009 season?

Now I'm not asking for the what he did at Plymouth answer, because I can give examples of other clubs he's managed to counterbalance that one, and he isn't the Plymouth Manager. Nor am I asking about not sacking another Manager, because stability is only worth having when you're in a league position worthy of being stable in.

So, based on what he's achieved so far in his tenure at Leicester City, why should Ian Holloway be the Manager for the 2008/2009 season?

Educate me, please!!!!

erm....what about, er, no....erm...wait...er...funny, no...erm...

F*cked if I know

Because, sadly, I don't think that anyone better would want to come and drink from such a poisened chalice :icon_sad:

My opinion at the minute is that there is no-one out there who would be an improvement.

So he's here by default :102: Bloody great.

I was hoping for answers on a more personal and professional level about his own abilities and achievements.

Please note before they lynch me.

This isn't another "Holloway Out" thread, nor do I want it as an excuse to ridicule him, I just want it explaining to me.

Usually I defend him, but **** that today.

Where the **** did he go in the second half?? I didn't see him until about 10 minutes from the end, and that was when he made a sub he should've made twenty minutes earlier.

As a sidenote, can someone please explain to me what the point of Steve Howard is?

Useless ****.

Dogshite subs today, not the best of half time team talks and a complete lack of ideas how to break em now.
FFS, put this shit in the match thread, I'm trying not to slag him off here, I'm trying to hear something constructive :icon_roll

Read the bloody thread!!!

At no point today did we ever attempt to keep the ball, it was just a constant 'smash it for Hume to run after' approach. All this resulted in was giving them the ball back, and on the ball they were far better than us.

What does he do during the week? Practice hoofing?

Surely he could have moulded a team that has some sort of ability to pass and move by now.

He got QPR back up from division 3 after taking them there. At this moment, his credentials are stronger than they've ever been.

He has brought in some decent enough players to the Club, unfortunately he can't seem to motivate them but I think we have some decent players

Did he bring in any players that are above and beyond the skill level that any other Manager would have been able to capture?

I don't know but I think he brought in decent players, you asked for positive things he's done for the Club.Unlike his 'Lovers' I will point out the opposite side and not just slate him.
