Obviuosly with new sigings!! Just dont think the rest can cut it. Maybe keep one or two of the kids around/loan them out for next season see if they develop into anything worthwhile but other than that **** the lot off as quick as possible.

But to have a full squad capable of fulfilling first team and reserve fixtures (assuming the new league materialises) that would mean at least 20 new signings to add to the 8 you would keep out of the existing squad. I wouldn't fancy having to find 20 new players I could be confident would fit in with the existing ones and each other and turn them into a well-oiled machine all in the space of a couple of months.

In practice it just doesn't work that way. Improvements to a squad come incrementally. With half a dozen good signings plenty of the existing squad could contribute more, certainly as back-up.

But the question asked “if I were lcfc manager who would I keep/ get rid of” and I answered that honestly. I don’t rate many of our current team. I agree with your point that this is not how it works for many clubs but I was being honest about who I would keep not who I think will stay/go.

I believe he has some genuine class, his attitude in the past has generally stunk but with the right man manger behind him I think he has a place at this level.

Because I still think he has potential. Give him some more time on the pitch and a proper pre-season with the squad and I think he will be able to do a good job for us next year.

Yes, the loanees have only been here for 4 games. Which I havent been to any. I think I'm going Saturday, I'd say my list is harsh. Only 7 players make the cut, I'd possibly consider getting another keeper.

I would not consider, I defo would get another goal keeper and a back up one too

Geoff Horsfield - give him another year but age is against him any longer
Mark Yeates - Looks better than what we have had this year but I think there is still a question about him that can't be answered until he's been with us a bit longer. Remember Ryan Smith, great when he first came then he forgot that he had to play to get in the team.
