Re: Paul Ince

Really have no idea who it will be now! Nobody seems interested. Of the people rumoured, surely Grayson and Gregory are the only ones left? I don't think it will be either of them still...

Taggs will get promoted, simply because there's no one else out there ;)

Whoever it is, I wish they'd just get it over with now. It's going to be a let down either way... may as well give him time to start planning early.

He would fit the passionate about the club bill.

Did cross my mind but would've thought they'd get a DOF if it was taggart.

I still think that Grayson (clearly wants out of Blackpool because of their very limited potential) and Gregory (gimme a job - any job) are favourites. But I agree Taggart's chances are increasing.

What I do know is that everytime Milan tries to fill the job, the field gets worse.

Re: Paul Ince

Ince would of only used us as a stepping stone anyway so this time next year we would of been in the same position. Paul Ince is a complete wanker who has no layalty he has only been in management about two years and has already had two clubs and is creaming over the chance of going to blackburn,He was the same as a player!!
Surely we need some one who will be here for a while some one who can build his own team and stick with it.
Whoever it is we need to get behind them not slag them off before the season has started.
Most people wanted hollaway sacked and when they got their wish starting slagging off MM and the club as a shambles.
Its time to show your support or leave!!

Re: Paul Ince

It'll be Steve Cotterill, it's written in the wind.

Re: Paul Ince

Der, he used to play for us :icon_roll

which is the only reason he is being considered. MM on sky sports now saying there is no first choice but he now has a shortlist of three....****ing hell

Re: Paul Ince

dont know if its already been posted but this is from the blue army website;

MK Dons have refused Leicester City permission to talk to Paul Ince about becoming the next manager at the Walkers Stadium.

But City chairman Milan Mandaric is still hoping to decide over the weekend who will be the new boss.

City confirmed today that the Dons would not allow them to talk to Ince, who guided the Milton Keynes-based club to promotion to League One last season.

Mandaric said: “Obviously, we are disappointed that we have been unable to talk to Paul.
“But we fully respect his decision to stay at MK Dons.

“We made an honest approach and that has been turned down. It is as simple as that.”
Ince was the only confirmed name on Mandaric's short list.

But Mandaric has said all week that Ince was only one of the names he had in mind.

And today Mandaric added: “It is true that Paul was someone we were interested in talking to with regards the position here.”

“We will now carry on speaking to the other candidates and hopefully we will be in a position to make our decision over the weekend,

“I want a manager who has a bursting desire to come to Leicester City Football Club. That is my number one criterium.”

A statement on the Dons website, mkdons,co.uk said: “Following discussions between the chairman (Peter Winkelman) and Paul Ince, it has been decided that Paul will not be pursuing the opportunity at Leicester City.

“Given Paul's success in his emerging managerial career, it can come as no surprise that speculation continues to see his name linked with a number of managerial vacancies.

“In spite of this, as we look forward to the forthcoming League One season, the club remains committed to keeping the hottest young manager in English football at stadiumuk.”

Re: Paul Ince

I'm glad we won't be getting Ince, didn't think he'd be the right man for the job - I never thought he would go to Blackburn and I still don't think he will end up there either. I think we have to go for Billy Davies and see if he would come here.. if not him then I haven't a sodding clue!

my guess is we'd probably stand a better chance with curly than those on the shortlist, i am extremely worried about who our new tit in charge will be now

The fact that he has not been mentioned for a while gives me a small straw to clutch at. :icon_conf
