The originals are hard to come by.

Sadly I only have a replica, and you can't have that because Its hung up in my study and is signed personally by the great man Gary Lineker! Its my most prised possession!

Can' remember to full details IC, but it made the nationals only a few years back - he'd ran into "financial" troubles at his pub in the Black Country and it ended up being torched...

Am sure someone will be able to find it through a search...??

If only Lynex had gone into pub management with Ian Wilson - the punters would've flocked in and made them a tidy sum.

I agree maybe they could have used the shipstones brewery now that Ind Coope is defunct. Wonder if Ally Mauchlen guzzled away all the profits with alan birchenall?

Steve Lynex
Is working at the Merry hill shopping centre as a security guard. He left the Red Lion in West Bromwich following a tragedy at a bonfire party.

More stuff here.
"On November 5,1994, five-year-old Sam Duggan, of Crome Road, Great Barr, died from head injuries and several other people were hurt after being showered by debris from an exploding bonfire lit with petrol at the Red Lion pub in All Saints Way, West Bromwich. The publican, former Albion and Birmingham City star Steve Lynex, was fined £3,000 by magistrates at West Bromwich after admitting failing to ensure public safety."
was this what you were thinking about or did he torch the place (allegedly) after?

Good link that one. I was wondering what happened to Martyn Bennett. Can anyone think of a sponsor to beat Ind Coope?

Oh, I think calling Lynex a 'star' is maybe a tad too strong. I don't seem to remember him in Hello magazine with one of the girls from Bananarama.

Who was better out of Mark Wallington vs Paul Cooper? My source tells me Wallington was...

surely no City fan could say Paul Cooper. Although PC played for us he wasn't the 10+ year stalwart that Wally was.

Paul Cooper was supposed to be great at saving pens and had a 50%+ career save record or someting. so what happened when he kept in a penalty shootout for us? let in 5 out of 5

Maybe I'll see if Andy Peake kept a spare. Does anyone know what happened to Ally Mauchlen post-Foxes?

A friend at work knows plenty of the city old boys through the Leicester all stars team and is good mates with Ally. They just won the area masters by seeing off F****t and the Sheep. Players include Ally Mauchlen, Gary Mac, Alan Paris, Paul Ramsey, Paul Reid, Kev Mc Donald, and sometimes Gary Mills ( he played for Notts County in the masters).
