Do we know whether he is fit at the moment?

I've not read in any of the pre-match reports that he's injured, so the temptation is to assume he's fit. It is bizarre that a defense minded manager, an ex-center back at that, would submit a match squad with NO defenders, so perhaps one or two CB's picked up injuries before the game.
