A friend of mine just lost her father, I guess Christmas for her will forever be a reminder of that...

Those hills I'll bet are amazing... Beautiful country you live in.

Very pleased with today.

Fryatt was immense and although Stearman can usually do no right (in my eyes too) he had a very good game after a shaky opening 10.

I thought the whole team worked well although John did look either unfit or un-interested.

McAuley and Kisnorbo were also fantastic.
On another note, the way Fulop was going round clapping and waving goodbye at the end it looks increasingly likely he'll be on his way out.

Enjoyed today after nearly staying in and not bothering, it's not often we win a game so comfortably.

Surely he will play on Saturday ?

Stearman and Fryatt were our stand out performers today, Hume didn't get himself into the game much.

Slighly negative note: We didn't create much up front for our strikers, but seeing as we started off with only one midfielder on the pitch, I'm not that suprised. Great set-pieces.

anyone else think its just a way for Roy Keane to get some transfer money in, knowing we are desperate to keep Fulop???

About 20 points by the looks of things.

Well done lads today looked good in parts, at least Stearman looked up for it. I don't go every week and he's looked terrible every time I've seen him play.

Only 11 points of a play off :icon_wink

Re: Ipswich Match Thread

I think he meant first HOME Boxing Day win:icon_lol:

Won't dwell too much on the negatives........

Collins John is cack.
Ipswich showed why they haven't won away all season.
Those swines couldn't score another so that my 3-0 on my betting slip paid out...

Positives:

Thought they played well.
Thought Fryatt and Stearman did ok today.
Think N'Gotty playing just in front of the centrebacks gives Clemence a bit more time on the ball.
Defence was untroubled for most of the time.
Clemence is now suspended isn't he?

All in all, I'm quite happy this evening!

A guy sitting behind me in F1 was laughing and cursing his luck with a few mates as he just missed out on a 3-0 bet slip too (this was after the Fryatt/Hume break at the end which saw Hume's shot saved) - was it you by any chance?

Overall very pleased with the performance.

One man who played very well today from start to finish was Stephen Clemence, which hopefully suggests he has broken away from the poor form he has shown in the past few weeks. Really driven the team forward today, exactly what we want.

4pts from 2 games where i didnt think we would get any. You never know Ollie might even get some credit............one day

I expect normal service to be resumed on Saturday

You old cynic BB.

Seriously I thought that was as good a performance I, as an irregular, have seen for some time. The lack of a midfield is still glaringly obvious, too defensive and unbalanced but they all worked hard but could be exploited by a better team than Ipswich showed up with today.

Some idiot behind me spent most of the first half shouting for Stearman, playing pretty well, to be taken off and for the ball to be constantly given to Hume, who was anonymous for large parts of the game I thought. It seems some fans can't get past their prejudices, Stearman is shite and Hume is God, despite the evidence in front of them.

I thought Fulop's clapping at the end was giving thanks to the fans for their support and his delight at the win. Seriously hope we make the move permanant asap.
