And even when he gets it up there, he can't keep it up there.

Total lack of penetration and desperate width problems.

When in the box it is vital you keep control. The odd dribble or two is fine, but when it comes to placing it............then you need to remain calm, slowly stroking it in.

Nonsense.

Keegan took over at Newcastle when they were in a relegation battle, kept them up and got them promoted as champions in his first full season. He stayed there for 5 years. That's longer than O'Neill was at Leicester.

At Fulham he got them promoted as champions in his only season. He left to become England manager.

At Man City he got them promoted as champions, and consolidated their position in the Premiership. He stayed there for nearly four years.

What we need is a manager who can get us promoted, no one has got a record anything like Keegan's at doing that, he has a 100% record, with three different clubs.

Do you really not want him because he might get us promoted in his first season but he might bugger off 3-4 years later after giving us the most entertaining football we've seen for decades?

Would you rather watch dour football under a dour manager?

Imo there are good and negative things about Keegan. His high profile in the game should enable him to attract players to a club and his record in general is good. On the down side most of his jobs have been at clubs where he's been given fortunes to spend, and despite MM ownership here he wouldn't have the same money pot that he enjoyed at other clubs. When he had to deal with the players that he had got i.e England, he failed. If he was ever appointed here i'm sure he would be welcomed by most, but whether he would be a big success:102: . Anyway does KK even have the enthusiasm to return to football?
Like it or not i believe RK will have done enough by the end of this season to convince MM that hes worth a go.
