What, like Norris OG?

Nothing specific in mind, though Graz could have a point. Or someone needed by their current club pending someone returning from that tournament, or suspension or injury?

There were a number of rumours linking Osbourne to a loan move to Leicester and now the deal has been done and dusted, all that remains is for him to recover sufficient fitness and he'll be off for a month.

The Foxes manager, Ian Holloway, is hopeful that Osbourne can make his loan debut this Saturday in their game against Norwich, which is most likely going to happen.

Speaking to IC Brum, Martin O'Neill said of the move:

'Leicester have asked about him going on loan. I said 'yes' and had he been fit he might have gone last week. First of all, before he does anything, he has to get fit.

'I have said in general terms that now we are out of the FA Cup and the games are down to one a week, in many aspects it might be good for him to get a couple of games.

'You are always torn between boys going out on loan and then picking up some injuries.

'It is a balancing act the whole time but Isaiah would only go for a month, and maybe get some games he needs in the time he's away from us.'

Osbourne would definitely benefit from a run of matches and it's certainly in our best interests to let him go at this stage I think.

Unless your names Roy Keane

Rules are different for goalkeepers anyway - but I don't think that's the rule Keane used to get Fulop back, I think there must be a loophole that allows a season long loan to be ended in the transfer window.
If we took someone now until the end of the season that couldn't happen, because there won't be a transfer window.

I think the rules say you can't recall a player in the first month of a short term loan (IE a loan from 1-3 months), but you can in subsequent months. For a long term loan, which would include loans to the end of the season, you can't recall them. Goalkeepers can be recalled at any time in an emergency. That's certainly what the rules were a year or two ago, it may have changed.

The Brummie press seem to be convinced he is on his way. Surprised nothing has been stated yet. I have a funny feeling (no inside info though) that there will be another 1 or 2 out soon...

Is there any Rules :102:

I think they just make it up between themselves.

There are definitely rules. Check the FA and FL websites.

According to the Mockery.

Villa man is set for City switch

by Andy Mann

Leicester City are hopeful of completing the signing of Aston Villa midfielder Isaiah Osbourne in the next 24 hours.

training with us tommorow, the deal better be completed as clems is out of the norwich match.

Holloway said he has a calf strain from trying too hard in training Zsolts is also a bit of a doubt as he twisted his ankle.
