As I understand it there are 2 main reasons he doesn't support the bid; the lack of any gaurantees and future plans in the bid and the lack of local people involvement.

With respect to the bid what is also quite interesting is that all the business advice taken by the club is telling them that this is a crazy deal that would be laughed at in any other business sector.

I don't see why they would pay for advice then ignore it?

And he is probably quite right.......except that this isn't an other business sector.

In the main, people put money into football clubs because they are football daft....not to make money and we don't have such crazy people around LCFC.

Therefore, given that the club is in continuous decline and the supporters are on the verge of what could be mass desertion for next season, then something drastic has to be done...and MM looks the only way forward. Very, very risky but better than the misery we have now.

No if he gets 90%, in law he can compulsory purchase the remaining 10% at the offer price.
