Will be well pleased if this turns out to be true - Holloway was the first name I mentioned when the ginger one left - he's ambitious, he speaks a lot of sense, he has a decent track record and, most importantly as far as I'm concerned, he has proven his ability to motivate players.

Plus, he is ****ing funny.

Considering?

Considering we are shite. Considering our chairmans desire to hire and fire every other month. Considering we were such an unnatractive propsect according to so many on here. Considering Manadric clearly couldnt get any of his top targets.

Ian Holloway's managerial career

Team From To Games Won Lost Drawn
Plymouth 28-06-2006 Present 71 28 20 23
QPR 26-02-2001 06-02-2006 252 100 81 71
Bristol R 13-05-1996 29-01-2001 247 90 87 70

A 38% win rate. 29% draws. 33% defeats.

Not in my top ten list - doubt he would have made my top twenty, actually

But I suppose it could have been an awful lot worse

At least it's feckin' all over :icon_roll
