Newell has bags of drive and wants to succeed at the highest level and that's something he doesn't seem to share in common with the Luton Town board but would here at Leicester City. He would be my number one choice and if we get him in I'll be happy as Larry. I would have thought our chances of getting him weren't bad at all but with all these rumours flying round I still won't believe anything until it's concrete.

If you read this Tim, get Mike in!
 
Nothing against RN but as regards Newell I will believe it when I see it..

Lazzer the bookies I use are no longer taking bets on Mike Newell, that kinda tells you something. Having just won with 2 out of 3 of my tips with 1 left to run (see betting forum), I was looking to have some of the dosh I got back today on MN.

What are you on about? Mike Newell's C.V is absolutely superb, the thought he may come to Leicester alone puts a skip in my step. Tell me who would be better please and why?

hold your horses chap, i remember exactly the same thing being bantered around about CL being the next o'neil. lets just hope we get him and let the guy do his job without adding to the pressure he would already face

That's my problem, there are not any outstanding candidates out there. His C.V. as a manager would merely read " Promising " in my book.

You Had a bit of an up and down day today, glad to hear you got that skip back in your step again cos Mike Newell is coming.
