I am concerned the lack of recruits to beef up the attack. We in for a shock this year, this division is not as easy as some think.

I'm not worried about the forward line at all, oddly enough - Someone out of Howard, Campbell, Hayles, Fryatt, Sappleton, Chambers, McKay, Odhiambo will be able to score goals at this level. I suspect quite a few of them will be able to, given adequate support

But, this year, we have a feckin' huge gaping whole at the back. Last year we had Fulop, Stearman, McAuley, Kisnorbo and Mattock/Clarke - ably assisted by one or two others during the course of the season - and we (allegedly) had one of the best defences in the Championship

This year not one of those players will turn out for Leicester City, and they have been replaced with a collection of marvels that no one really has a clue about

I suspect our starting 'back five' against MKDons will be Henderson, Gilbert, Morrison (or Tunchev, if he actually does exist), Hobbs and Chambers

Now that is a complete bag of shit, even at this level

I think we can, and probably will, score against MKDons - but I'm pretty feckin' certain we will let in two or three at least

Henderson will do for now and Mattock hasn't left yet. The longer it goes on the less likely I think it is he will leave, but then again I'm not in "the know" so can't confirm.

I think you're being a bit harsh here.

Agreed Henderson is gash.

If you look at the rest though, Gilbert must have something about him to be at Arsenal, Same with Hobbs. Chambers is a proven decent full back at championship level.

And this brings us onto Tunchev.

Will he turn out to be an Elliot or a Gilchrist?

Only time will tell I guess.

The worst thing about playing Henderson is that the only feckin' back up we have is Lardy Logan

Ryan Smith was at Arsenal, and turned out to be a complete cock

If Hobbs is that good, then why is he playing in League One this year, after spending last season in the Championship. Hardly progression, is it ?

Chambers is a right back, not a left back

And I don't think Tunchev really exists - he's just a made up name

Well I'm still causiously optimistic about it all.
 
Hobbs will be ok at this level,the likes of Morrison,Worley,Tunchev I have no idea about.I wouldn't read too much into Gilbert being at Arsenal,he's loaned out all the time and IMO he will never get into the Arsenal side.James Chambers is fine..as a Right Back,my main concern is Left Back,it's a problem area that we haven't addressed for a good while yet.Ok theres Mattock but thats it,if he goes or bis injured then we have nobody and will have to put a Square peg in a round hole,something we have done far too often in the past unsuccesully
 
my guess is Hobbs and Tunchev will be the first choice Central defensive pairing

A while ago mind..I'm not being negative (for a change) but at the same time I'm not kidding myself,we have a few unknown quantities in our Squad,they may well turn out to be diamonds but they could just as easy turn out to be muck.We shall see.I'm keeping an open mind..the Goalkeeper and Left Back situation does concern me though

I agree with the left back situation, think hendo will be fine.

Though if there was someone better out there go for it.
