Biffa Bacon goes on about this thing in Japan where they bring out a pot of boiling water, and strips of beef, and you cook it yourself. They do also bring out veg, but I'm fussy about that too!!

I'm fortune enough to be up in the Japanese mountains where we get cooked traditional Japanese food in the homes of our farmers.

We sit cross legged around their long tables eating freshly picked rice. It's bloody wonderful.

Sounds fecking disgusting if you ask me, you're not gonna convince me that they go to the side of the paddy field for a piss when they're picking the rice.
Lovely, freshly picked rice soaked in Jap piss.

They seem to eat everything that lives in the sea. Some of the stuff at the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo looks like alien life forms. Raw fish dishes are known as Shashmi, Sushi refers to the use of Sushi rice and vinegar.

A lot of what we see in the west is pretty sanitised, they eat some really weird things in Japan. (As well as some fairly normal stuff).
