praise off the spurs fans

more chance of the pope turning muslim...spurs fans think they should be winning the champions league, someone with MY's quality (as shown so far) wouldn't make them even consider praising

Jarrett was poor today IMO, Yeates was decent.

I would howerver like both loans to be extended. :)

OMFG!!!! How the hell people can say Yeates was good and Jarret was rubbish I do not know.

Yeates was slow, weak, poor control and poor passing (except for two balls played in the box). Altough Jarret was not great he showed the energy we had been lacking BIG TIME!!! He put tackles in and tried to get forward when he could (his shooting was shocking though).

Totally agree Babs :038:

Exactly what i thought. Infact i thought he was our worst player, people sitting near me said how good he was i thought he was average offered nothing, but average is better then Hughes. Talking about Hughes, he was sitting in the West stand with the youth players he was there with McCarthy who got a bit of stick of a couple of fans through out the match!

Celtic fans thought the same of Lennon when he got there - but they began to appreciate how he made the team tick eventually.

Not saying Jarret is the same, as I have not seen him play for us.

I thought they both had mixed games. Yeats certainly has huge promise, but his inexperience showed at times & he tired quickly in the second half. Jarett certainly worked hard, and seems to be bringing out the best in AJ. He did a lot of good things, but some of his passing was poor. And he needs to get some decent studs in his boots! I just about agree with Melton - but having said that, if he had put in the same performance for us in a lot of games this season it would have made him man of the match!

I doubt Jarrett, Yeates, Glombard or Horsfield will be here beyond the end of their current deals, now that MM is finally at the helm then I expect to see us in a completely different market for players, the deals that were initially set up for a month will be terminated and the players will be replaced with more established names who can take the club forward to the next level and in readiness for next season.

no offense but I cant see how that is possbile, we arent going to attract big name players this season given the situation we are in. Yes i agree we may see more players come in but the better players are in the better teams in the league currently. Just because we have money doesnt mean we are garunteed good players at this point in the season. After summer its a completely different situation.

There are plenty of players who are not playing reguarly in the premiership who would be head and shoulders above the level of any of the current squad. So I do believe we will see the arrival of 3 or 4 decent loan signings with next season in mind. Also the takeover completely changes our outlook now, we are club with prospects, an exciting future and a fair amount of potential.

It already looks like we secured the services of Todorov, who IMO is better that what we already have, and rumours are abound that another couple could be on their way in over the coming days.
