Yes - your'e right - I'd forgotten that it was us fans who were entirely responsible for us getting relegated and I also needed to take on board that the joys of watching wholesome, uncommercial Third Division football remote from the coverage of the wider media coverage than the RL/ Mockery far outweighs any negatives.

I must peruse that Network Rail timetable for Oldham.

I have still not renewed, and I won't. But I have been to both the home games so far and it has not cost me a bean. Could be a good season yet.

I had a great view last year, in the East Stand, but everyone around me seemed to be over 80 and covered in ralgex. Half time all the flasks came out from under the travel rugs they had over thier knees followed by the aroma of ox tail soup!!!!!!!!

I had to lower my standards and sit in the kop against The MK Dons

Pride isn't related to money.

Just because in some tournaments the winning financial figure is less, doesn't mean the pride has to be.

As a boy playing football I obviously didn't win any money at all for winning a tournament, as I suspect most, if not all of us didn't. I still wanted to win every tournament I played in, and I still wanted to play in every tournament that was open to us.

I liked getting medals and recognition, with that came pride.
