No, but if your concern was for a promising young player, I assumed that you, too, would not want to see him played out of position.

I don't consider right-back as out of position for Morrison, he made the position his own last season. If Sousa was considering playing him as a centre forward, I could see why you'd have a gripe, and rightfully so. But I see Morrison as a good centre-back, who is also a good right-back.

In fact, I think he might actually have performed better at right-back for us than he has at centre-back.

No, no, no, no, no. Players are not allowed to play in different positions, not ever. Football players just aren't physically or mentally capable to make minor adjustments.

It would destroy his development and ruin him forever

This despite the fact that he has proven to be extremely effective in both positions already - outstanding at right back sometimes

He is far better sitting on the bench, not actually playing at all

Absolutely. If clubs wanted players to be able to play in different positions then they would make them do it in the academies.

This forum gets more and more complicated. In order to berate our new manager; Sousa is criticised for signing a new centre-half leaving poor Morrison out in the cold. When it is suggested that the always perfect ex-manager had paid money for a player who was often preferred to Morrison in the centre, whilst being derided by one and all on these threads, it transpires that signing the centre-half has precluded Morrison from playing at right-back. I need to lie down in a dark room for a thousand years, or two. :icon_conf

lets give the man a chance!, not all Hull fans have slagged him off, how many of us agreed on Wayne Brown? (some liked some disliked), its obvious to all we need the defence sorting, lets see if KZ can do it, if not back he goes

Hope this isn't true. Never seen Kamil play so swapping him for Fryatt would be a daft switch. Fingers crossed its a load of bollocks.

1. Where is everyone getting the idea that it's nailed on that any deal must include Fryatt swapping clubs?

2. You may not have seen Zayatte play, but I'm sure the people who matter i.e. The club management definitely have.

I would uncross them if I were you, it's a bit pointless when we already know it wont be happening.

Youtube is a great thing....Perfect if you want to watch a chimp on a segway or scout your next signing

has he signed yet? i noticed on East Mid News other day it showed the players training Vitor was there (maybe hes ready for action)

following Spanky Fox's post - the team i'd like to see is quite similar:

------------- Weale-------------
Morrisson Zayatte Hobbs Berner
Abe Wellens
King
Waghorn Fryatt Dyer

Pity there's no room for Gallagher in that starting lining up as he's quality- but he's not in a midfield three, not a better finisher than Fryatt, not got the pace of Dyer and Waghorn will definitely start as he's been signed for 3m - so i can't see him getting in.
