At least if we get Hoddle we will have God on our side, which I think is important in these dark days...

Whist I accept that RK has to go, nominating replacements on "well he's better than Kelly" criteria is not good enough, yes, Hoddle, Robson, Keegan et al , may well be better than Kelly, but are they good enough to enable the club to achieve its ambitions. Adams was probably better than Kelly, next door's dog is probably better than Kelly, however, 'better' is not good enough, is he capable of taking us to the Premiership and keeping us there, if so then fine and good, but if we're looking at people just because they are better than Kelly, then, sorry, but that ain't enough.

He's weird, a crap singer, and has a suspect hairstyle... but glen hoddle would be great. wolves apart, his record at all levels is good - Swindon, Chelsea and England. At England level, we were playing the best football we played in ages...something all subsequent managers have failed to do. He also be able to attract big names and inspire young players. Which evidently, Kelly can't.

If we are talking about picking random names, Billy Davis would be great, but another quality manager, who (is reportedly unhappy, could come into contention and) would also be great for Leicester is...George Burley. He's class and proven

Sorry, but Bryan Robson, please no....

While I share some of the views Boca-Filbert has expressed here, I just want to point out that he is not me; neither am I him. I do not know him - and I don't think that he knows me.

So there!

.... at risk of being accused of talking boll**ks (hey, I am probably in good company), but Lawrie Sanchez could come into the mix. He is stalling on his NI contract and wants to get back in club football while his standing is pretty good.

For me I would go for Glenn. Despite his weirdeness (I agree with bocadillo completely - he's not everyone cup of tea), but he's still a god, though hes probably more David Icke than the real big man.

Plus - as an added bonus - with the amount of hoddle material, there's a chance we can improve our reportoir of chants, which is frankly is piss poor.

Could we afford a foreign manager instead of the has-beens being mooted here ?

A message to Glenn from me:-

Please F*** off somewhere else, i can't stand you and you are a s*** manager. Nothing personal.

Milan has got a long headach has he tries to find who is the best person to replace kelly and the best person to make is plan a realistic ojective to get to the top league within 3 years, i'm sure who is appoints will be the best for us him and the club, no more can be said, its all just rumours at the moment, for for the mean time Rob kelly is the manager we have 8 games lets get behind the team and then sort it out in the summer, main target right now is to see if we will be a championship team come august 2007

I wouldn't take either of these two over anybody. They've both had their chances and proved that they can't hack it. If Kelly is to go, we've got to be more imaginative than this!

Totally agree with you BOC, certainly wouldn't want GH or BR

Still think MM will go for a Manager with Premier League experience over an Up and coming Manager. He will want someone who can attract players to the club, maybe with a Young assistant manager

Why is a foreign manager the answer?

People blamed Levein's failure on not knowing the Championship, would have thought many of the Scots Prem outfits are closer to Championship footy than someone with experience in Europe....
