As long as the new manager is in ASAP then it will work out fine. We need a solid pre-season....

I never said wish,I would think we all wish that but others demand it or the Manager should go

Yes - I can help you there Melton. I am one of those bizarre people - and here's why.... we are still stuck with the low quality management that Manderic inherited. The only thing that has changed is the ridding of the board of no hopers. Everything else now needs to be changed.

This is a rubbish division. Next to no quality players. It would not take such a great deal - say 2 or 3 million quid plus higher wages for better players- to improve a side like Leicester sufficiently to challenge for promotion next season.

I think a manager like Bryan Robson could probably achieve that. He ain't the best manager in the country but he has proved capable of achieving promotion and achieved a near miracle in keeping the Baggies up two seasons ago.

Whether we would stay up is a totally different matter...but is the Manderic strategy to get us into the Premiership; boost the value of the club...and then sell it on to a bigger investor??
 
With you 100% Redditch, I think we have had the players for promotion this season. But the manager can't manage them and their attitudes have been all wrong

It maybe at the moment but if as seems likely West Ham,Charlton and Watford come down there will be 3 teams with strong credentials for Promotion and in West Ham's case financial backing.

This squad of players was good enough for mid table safety - with never a whiff of relegation in the air, and play-offs always out of reach

The fact that we could actually go down is nothing short of a disgrace

West Ham and Charlton's best players are going to desert ship - West Ham inparticular are looking at great instability.

Watford are also losing their one or two better players....and are currently running on adrenalin. Without their goalkeeper they will struggle.

We have made assumptions before about relegated sides coming straight back up...and it doesn't always happen that way.

I'm not assuming I'm just voicing opinion that these clubs will be vying for Promotion and i wouldn't consider them to be rubbish in much the same way I wouldn't consider Sunderland to be now

No, FFS how difficult is it to understand. EVERY single player has played well below their ability this season.

This shows ineffective management and a bad attitude from the players.

We have seen EVERY single player show patches of how good they can be during certain games this season. When they are in the spotlight they play well (Villa, Fulham and the MM media attention)

There IS NOT one single player playing to the best of his ability for more than a few minutes at a time.

All the teams that have visited the Walkers this year have been mediocre at the very best. Nearly ALL of them were there for the taking, and if our players were motivated we would have beaten nearly all of them

Sunderland had a whiff or relegation, Burnley were flying. Its where you finish that counts. We won't go down.

Sunderland is a good case in point.

A few months ago they were about as bad as us. Then they appoint a manager who will not tolerate sloppiness and bad standards.

Generally speaking, players need to be frightened to achieve results. kelly wouldn't frighten next door's canary.

How difficult is it to understand that i think a lot of them just aren't up to this standard of football anf even if Wenger or Benitez was managing them IMO they still would not be good enough
