"The manager has talked about me getting in behind defences and that he needs someone getting in behind. I would like to come here and add that to the squad."

He's another Elvis :icon_eek:

He had a reasonable debut IMO, struggled the first 30 minutes, but when he got into the game he seemed a handful.

yeah I agree, the last thing we need right now is a good player. FFS

So you seriously think that Man City whose problem is that they can't score enough goals would let him come here at this stage of the season if they thought he was anything near the finished article?

And you obviously also seriously think that a 19 year old with the experience of a handful of games is likely to make a real difference in a relegation dog fight.

Sorry, but as usual you have got it somewhat wrong.

Was he that good? I thought he was very average on the whole - a 19 year old who looks extremely inexperienced and could be bogged down in a relegation scrap. As I said he just let Marvin Elliott ghost past him for his shot against the post. Not really good was it? His highlight was a 30 yard run of sheer pace and that Canadian midget muppeted it up.

I think he gives us an obvious additional option and all credit to Holloway for keeping trying to do something about an obvious deficiency in the sqad - just because I don't rate Ollie doesn't mean that I don't recognise that he tries to get things right.

However, I share your doubt whether he is ready for the sort of scrap we are in. People who talk up young kids who are being sent out by a bigger club because they are currently surplus to requirements don't really do them any favours.

Did he really go off with cramp that soon into the second half, if that's the case his fitness level must be very low.

Nobody in their right mind expects Etuhu to be the saviour but he's an option and gives us pace.I see no harm in having him around.
