hate to say it but if both us and wolves are interested in him he'd go to wolves over us :frown:

That's OK. We can just change the words of the song a little bit.

Fans of spoonerisms will be pleased if we sign him.

Is that when people who complain about the lack of pies are told it's a pack of lies?

Is he even that good? Is RK looking at him as a replacement for Joey? I've heard of him, i just dnt knw anything about him! It seems like we aren't the only two clubs to be linked with him:

He seems very similar though, last season he played 43 games, only 4 goals, but only 3 yellows (compared to Joey's 12 yellows), and one red.

Which makes his good disciplinary record even more remarkable! :icon_bigg

I got to see a grand total of one game live and in the flesh last season, which was away at Crewe. And I can say that "Lenny Kunt" was one of the better players on the pitch. He's a decent, solid player - not spectacular but too good for League 1 - so surely he'll be moving to a Champ side. I think he'd be a good signing for us...

I think we would get him over Wolves at the mo, they are close to signing a mnasfield and a darlington player they are that desperate to sign players and cut the wage bill. We can probably pay more than them at the mo, they are in desperate trouble according to my source.

I would say we are a more attractive proposition than Wolves, for a start Lunt would be a key player for us, we have a manager who is building a reputation, we are on the up, despite a poor season, the last 4 months or so saw the club in the ascendency.

Also look at Wolves, a manager who is clinging to his job by his fingernails, he has a reputation for being more than a little 'difficult'. You have to consider that Wolves managed to finish the season in great disappointment and whether they will carry that hangover into the next season, there is and will be a great deal of negativity in and around the club, it is no secret that Jez Moxey wanted rid of Hoddle and you have to question whether the decision was made purely for financial reasons.

Exactly right - I've seen him play 4 or 5 times live and he's always impressed me - much too good for league 1. I got quite excited when I heard we might be trying to get him. I think comparisons with Lennon are wrong because (a) that's too much praise for someone we don't really know and (b) he's a bit more attacking - he's the sort of player who can see a pass which is exactly what we need in midfield.

I think given the choice he will definately choose Wolves ahead of ourselves.
