Am I the only one worried by the dads army we appear to be signing?

Not worried as (a) we haven't signed anyone yet and it's a load of rumour and (b) we shouldn't be obsessed about buying a squad of under-25s. 30 doesn't make someone over the hill, and we need 1 or 2 experienced players. A good manager will find the right ones

I agree tbh, the right mix of youth and experience is what is needed. Just worried that the mix is becoming a little one sided, im sure it will all pan out during the summer.

my workmate is a charlton season ticket holder and doesnt really rate kisishev - says he runs round like a terrier but also has the brain of a terrier and gives the ball away cheaply far too much...

they obviously dont see him as part of their promotion winning campaign so why should we?

according to sky 4 clubs are interested in Kisishev

Chill mate, when CL came in he did a good job in reducing the age of the squad down, but it went a little too far IMO and in quite a few games over the last couple of seasons we have had that lack of experience exposed. As long as all of our signings are not 34+ and lost thier legs it will bring that experience.

On the same note I thought I saw that Koumas could be available from WBA on SSN, he has been mentioned alot of times on here and just the sort of player we need.

The impression that I have from the list of players touted as attracting MM's interest is that they look mainly somewhat over the hill - Bosman frees and the like who are looking for relatively big wages. MM has been in the business for a long time and should know what he is doing - but I don't think they are players that are likely to create a lot of excitement.

As for Koumas - he would cost good money and a monster wage to persuade him not to join a prem club. This is not going to happen - and I'm surprised that anyone could think that we are in that kind of market these days.
