Welcome Lurchio Good Post Maybe There Is Light At The End Of The Dark Tunnel Of 2005/2006 Season So Many Ideas But We Must Believe We Are Going To Win Soon Or We Might As Well Give Up And Go For A Walk At Bradgate On A Saturday Afternoon Up The City :)

What would the crowds reaction be if all the players came over to them and booed them, gave them the finger and the wanker sign?
The reason I say this is because at home I think we have the worst fans in the Championship, they only cause noise when they are getting on a players back....:018:

Possiably true - going away is the most enjoyable anyway (even if we never win)

I thought the fans did very well first half to get behind the team yesterday. Plenty of singing from where I was.

i was in L1 and thought that a good atmosphere was created for most of the game. apart from the odd wanker with the levein out chant every 5 mins. the guy infront of me got very pissed off and the police had a word. its a trying time for all city fans as the team has put us all in a possition where we may regret what we say infront of other city fans. i can imagine that if it goes on for much longer it could get nasty on occasions.

enjoyed the prolonged "Stand up and support your team" chanting.

Completely agree. I thought Smith and Hughes were very poor yesterday but they got no abuse whatsoever when Kisnorbo (and to a lesser extent de Vries) were getting loads - Not saying that I wanted them to get abuse, just that it was incredibly unfair.
Bang on, Smith was dire at times, he was initially at fault for their first goal by giving the ball away when we were on the break. The tossers near me were making donkey noises towards De Vries after he had turned well a few times to put the cross into the box for our goal.

Objectivity and fairness seem to be the first casualties when things go badly. Passions run high and people need to blame someone. Of course it won't help much if you boo a player or slag him off, imagine how you would feel if you were the butt of regular abuse in your job. Not pleasant and not going to make you feel motivated. However, we are in deep do do's people are angry and frustrated, it seems that nothing the club does makes any positive difference.

But where is the Foxes never quit attitude within the club, where is the passion and commitment that drove us to play the game hard right to the whistle and brought its own rewards? I see us go a goal down and too many head go down and shoulders slump. Give their shirts to someone who wants to bleed a bit of claret for the club, even if its a youngster.

And the worst fans in the league will get what they deserve!

BLUEPOSTIE suggests that if we don't win soon, we might as well give up and go for a walk down Bradgate on a Saturday afternoon. I actually long for the day to come when a significant number of our fans do choose to go somewhere else instead of the match, if they 're going to act like they did on Saturday.

The whole of the football world is laughing at us - not because we're at the bottom of the championship - not because we have Craig Levein - not because we have a board who have set its manager strict guidelines about the way they want to look to the future. They're laughing because we've got a group of fans who think they are bigger than the club itself - a group of fans that don't realise their teams place in the football world - a group of fans whose only achievement is to get rid of managers (and please don't tell me that the fans have achieved a single other thing during the last few years).

OK, it looks as though we might go down. Let's see how many of those fans are still around then!

You know what I am sick to the back teeth of the fans getting the blame for everything. The players on Saturday did f*ck all to deserve cheering. I won't boo during the game, but I was in no mood for singing, especially when the tw*ts behing me kept singing "We hate nottingham...", where the f*ck is the relevance in that! No player deserves to be booed like Kisnorbo was, and I hate the guy, but if he wants to win the fans support then he (and the rest of the team) need to pull their fingers out and earn the support of the fans. Any other club, any other team and the manager would have been kicked out long ago, along with alot of the players. This bunch of arseholes have had nigh on 18months to impress us (most of them), and have catagorically failed to do so.

From what I understand did they not do the equivalent away to Sheff Wed by ignoring the crowd at full time?

Completely agree Boc, exactly what I was thinking.

i agree boc  :icon_lol:
i would be tragic if we did go down and the standard would be shite
but on the plus side the season tickets will be cheaper there will no ale queue at half time, the pies wont sell out , and the crowd will be 100% true supporters

I guarantee the pies will still sell out! We may even lose sponserhip with pukka and end up with Asda own brand!
