So, if you disregard the home advantage (which I'd suggest should lengthen the odds by about 1.5), it looks like the bookies have made us favourites.

Says it all really.

I rather have us not being favourites.

I love it when you just pluck figures out of the air Joe_.:038::038:

Spreadsheet?

I'd say the Swansea odds is calculated on them being in a shitty position and having a weaker squad than us, Forest and Cardiff - that should lengthen the odds by 12.75 or so.

If you disregard that, they are considered favourites - bit of a shock really

i don't think you've factored into the equation whether or not they can plug their computer into their sofa, this could shorten their odds by as much as 0.75%.

How can you disregard something that's rather important? It doesn't make any logical sense.

if you ignore the advantage of having better players, Peterborough are promoted

Faired income, I was a bit rash in posting this. But I stand by what I meant - disregarding home advantage which, as past playoffs results prove, really isn't much of an advantage, the bookies have made us favourites.

er....utter rubbish, the 3rd team goes through most of the time

I don't think that is true. It may be that the 3rd (or 4th in League Two) goes through more than any other individual play-off club - but that is not the same as going through "most of the time".
