Not really anything to do with food but, the Royal Oak in Quorn is reopening tonight.

Apparently it used to have a bad reputation, but this is new management, and it's been spruced up inside.

If you're not going to the match tonight and you're in the area it's open after 7.

Yeah food is quality but as you say its pricey. We always stop in there on a pub crawl and it is a favourite with the city players. I've seen Super Stevie Howard,Oakley and Morrison in there as well as ex players like Izzet, Elliot and mauchlan.

You should of popped down the road to the nags for a pint of bollock wash lazzer!

Thai Rainbow In De La Zouch 9/10


Superb little Thai place, great options on the menu and a nice little setting, The roasted duck red curry was especially good, and those who love coconut should try the coconut rice, very sweet and flavoursome but very nice.

Looked in yesterday and seemed very nice inside.
