You were 11 in 2014? How’ve you been a member since 2003?!

Edit, okay I’m pissed, just realised you were on about the Cambridge game, not the Man United one.

Melton really does have some excellent drinking options. Get yourself down Paint the Town Red.
When I lived near Melton it was the White Heart, the Grapes for a slippery nipple, Tubes and then Roadhouse if you could be arsed.

I’ve been taking in some of the lovely, locally brewed and powerfully alcoholic beer options.

Tubes is still going, it’s generally regarded as the place you go if you fancy a fumble with a local lady.

Started the afternoon at The Royal Oak in Great Dalby. Cracking food and the landlord even shared some of his personal stash of Round Corner beers with us.

My grandma and grandad lived in Old Dalby. Spent lots of time there.

There’s some lovely villages round here to be fair. Drove out to Hose this morning near Long Clawson to pick up a baby bath my missus bought off Facebook. Looks a lot like Great Dalby, gorgeous country houses.

Played football for Long Clawson for afew years. Spent many a night there at my good friends house. Grew up in a small village called Eastwell.

Eeee it’s like a Melton area love in. I’m away boarding and it’s making me miss home (well, I’d still rather be here for now anyway).

It’s muddy as **** round here at the minute, you could board down Asfordby Hill with ease.

If you were local you’d have spotted the clue as soon as the location was mentioned.
Batsman’s are selling The Horseshoes and there’s a campaign to save it and stop Co-Op from expanding into it.

There’s also plans to build about a million new houses the hill, the fields near Frisby and on the bypass so the village will be about the same size as Melton in a few years!

My 'happy memories' of Old Dalby - 50+ years ago - looking at the geology in a railway cutting near Stanton Tunnel. Not as happy a memory as City winning the FA Cup or the Premier League, but I thought I'd mention it.

The place would be big enough to support the pub by then

Still can't believe how good Perez looked in this game. That half volley for his second.... wow.
Thankfully I think Brenda has finally given up on the idea of him recreating that performance.
