This is why Puel has to go for me. Yes we had two good games...but I feel that was in spite of his ropey tactics.

We looked tired. We lacked quality. Demarai Gray hopeless. We need another striker. Boring.

Everytime we get near the top six Puel pulls a rabbit out the hat to ensure we stay out of it.

He is an idiot for taking Vardy off Albrighton too, you go for maximum points against the likes of Cardiff and worry about Everton later!

Awful, awful, awful. Gray and Ndidi were as bad as I have seen them. Substitutions were unfathomable and Maddison should never be allowed to play Billy big bollocks again with penalties. After two great results we went all 'Puely' again.

We have no striker options its that simple. We are constantly flying on 1 engine. If we don't fix that in Jan it doesn't matter if Puel is there or not. I happen to think that we'd be better with Benitez or someone with some personality.

This performance is exhibit A in the case against Puel.

You could argue we were unlucky (a penalty that shit isn’t unlucky by any definition however) but it was toothless and ponderous and annoying to watch.

Also Maddison needs to learn some serious lessons.

Not sure what was less convincing. The dive for the pen or the attempt at taking the pen. Why didn't he just ****ing shoot in the first place?

Don't worry. I'm sure everyone has been preparing for the Everton game. Thats the game that counts. It doesn't matter that we can't beat a team like Cardiff. Or Fulham. Or Palace.

I’ll first qualify this by saying I’m going solely on radio commentary here. It sounded like Bamba and Etheridge were giants in a superb defensive performance. Seemed like we struggled to break them down as we often do when teams come and put players behind the ball. This is something we need to be better at figuring out. Still not gonna moan too much about getting six points this week. Today was just one of those things that happens sometimes. Meh.

So why were we so good against the likes of Chelsea and Man City but so poor against lowly Cardiff? Is it the expectation? When it's off - the shackles are off, when the pressure is on and we're expected to win - we bottle it?

IMO Puel hasn't helped himself again today by changing things up. He's been moaning that he wants some consistency, start with the same line up that won us the last two games so impressively. Puel got his tactics all wrong opting to rest Morgan and go for a more attacking line up by dropping Choudhury for Gray. Taking Vardy off also proved to be a big mistake...

Morgan was sick.

People here banging on about how bad Ndidi was, I think he was OK. The passing by them all today was poor, it just wasn't there.

Sol was immense.

Happy with the result then?

Of course not - I've just wasted an afternoon, the best part of £50 and my hands are almost too cold to type this!

Can't really blame Puel for the players not putting a shift in and some generally poor on the field performances.

The team was what most expected/wanted, they just didn't deliver.

Maddison disappointing even without the penalty miss, Vardy was almost a waste of a player and no one really had a performace to be happy about.

Crowd also a bit of a let down and seems they can be as bad as the team in that there is a real lack of motivation and overwhelming sense of expectations that the lesser teams are a push over.

Hahahahahahaha I saw better games in League 1.

I have nothing constructive to say other than all but 4 or 5 players on the pitch looked like they wanted to be there. Sadly for us three of those were Etheridge, Bamba and Camarasa.
