Massive balls from Mahrez to try that at the end but ****ing hell we didn't deserve anything from the game. Ndidi was about the only one that can hold his head up after that shit-show.

I’m as delighted as anybody with the late goal but that shouldn’t be allowed to disguise how bad we were yet again.

I have real doubts about Puel. He’s done well enough to get us up the league but we are only sitting about where we ought to be anyway.

I’m struggling to see what we are supposed to be transitioning to. Keeping possession of the ball? We are already doing that, but I’m completely the wrong areas of the pitch.

Possession is great if it’s alongside movement, invention and speed up through the pitch. Our style has none of those things.

We have players who can do the invention bit but it looks to me as though they’re being instructed not to. The speed is none existent. We get to the final third and slow things down so the opposition are already set. And the lack of movement is criminal.

I can now see what Southampton fans complained about. Not only are we relinquishing the opportunity to qualify for European football through league position for only the second time in our history, we boring to watch with it.

I don’t pay the money I do to be bored. A comfortable league position is all well and good. I’d have snapped your hand off for midtable in the top flight five years ago. I’m okay with it now. But not like this.

I know there is this cliché about it being boring in the middle of this league. But it doesn’t have to ring true. Swansea under Rodgers and Laudrup. Southampton under Pochettino and Koeman. Bournemouth under Howe. It is possible to have a plan, and to be entertaining.

Like most of us I work all week. Life is quite dull enough Monday to Friday without playing for extra punishment at the weekend. If what’s we are seeing now is more than a question only of form then he can go in the summer.

A last minute wonder free kick doesn’t paper over the cracks for me.

Get Puel our now and give Appleton the gig till the end of the season and then review.

I can’t bear to watch another 90 minutes under him. Dour, inept, boring, clueless.

Ndidi and James both incredibly poor. As was Mahrez for the first 95 minutes but as usual he pulls off a stroke of genius to save our bacon. Thank god we kept him otherwise we could seriously have been pulled into the dogfight this season.

Hats off to Albrighton and Silva who both managed to find a whole new level of shitness.

Camberwell says it all.

An absolute belter from Mahrez dragged our arses from the fire but no way did we deserve it. We've got big problems and they start with Puel.

I have to disagree there. He should have had two yellow cards, should have conceded a penalty, and was dispossessed far too easily. He did get better in the last 20 minutes though.

True, Bournemouth and Stoke we both every bit as naff as we were. Maybe we expect a little more given what Ranieri achieved and what we know many of these players are capable of and given the amount of money we've spent compared to Stoke and Bournemouth since we won the league.

We would be absolutely ****ed without Mahrez but who can blame him for wanting to leave that shower? He almost won it last weekend in a game we barely deserved to draw and he bailed us out today in a game we deserved nothing from. In fact if you could deduct points for a performance that’s what we deserved.

We’re becoming What Southampton we’re under Puel. Only they didn’t have a Mahrez.

A sticking plaster over a ****ing huge wound but what a class act Mahrez is. He stepped up and took responsibility.

Diabate did more in his 10 minutes than most of the rest did all game but this was the case last week as well. No doubt he will be making another arse groove in the bench next week while Albrighton pretends to be a footballer. I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that Albrighton has now run out of ideas and out of steam. His crossing, his running with the ball and some of his passing was beyond atrocious today. As for Puel, he just isn't dynamic enough. He isn't proactive or reactive and as a result we are just one dimensional for 80 minutes a game until panic sets in or, of late, until Diabate comes on and tries to make something happen.

Them club just announced record profits and talked about the Champions League. Yes of course we do and should expect more.

There was a definite touch of '**** it' expression on his face as he prepped to take that free kick probably knowing swinging it into the box would result in another shitfest of head bobbling before ultimately being punted clear...

I don't know. I really don't. Were the Saints fans right after all & Puel is just a negative boring ****? I was in the camp that thought it was to do with the players he had to call on down there but we've got some dynamic attacking players here & he seems to want to not play to their strengths. Maybe a Summer transfer window will tell us what we're actually getting. But do we really want to know?

It seems as if he took a look at us in his first couple of games & thought "Mon Dieu! Attacking play & scoring goals. I must put a stop to that immediately!" I hope I'm wrong.

Either way the last 2 games we've been ****ing lucky to pick up a point at home to one team that are bang average & another who are complete doghit. Should have been 6 & we should be sitting pretty. If Chelsea shit all over us in the Cup as now seems likely then I just want this complete ****ing waste of a season to be over.

Mostly I want to be wrong about Puel because sitting through another "who's next?" shitfest is the last thing we need. We haven't got one single thing right as a club since the miracle. Maybe we are just small-time by nature.

Not feeling very positive.

We did. We deserved a draw. Bournemouth were as crap as us.

With all due respect, that's just bollocks. Bournemouth may well have been crap but they played like they wanted it. They defended like their lives depended on it. We pumped everything we had at them, because we'd run out of any other ideas, and they got bodies in the way. Time and again. I wish we could defend with that degree of passion. We just give the damned ball away, gift the opposition a goal and then stand around like we've been wronged. It happened against Stoke and we've done the same again today. I'm fekkin' livid.

We played like we wanted it. We were clueless, but the effort was there.
They gave the ball away more than we did.
We deserved a draw.
