Must admit I like Wembley. We do go very regularly.
And at the end of the 2017-18 season you may very well be there again in the play-off final.

They were all friendlies. Nobody gives 100% passion in a friendly. Don't be a fanny.I have a couple of concerns following this game and our pre-season.
1st. We seem to be very weak defensively, and have missed Kanté as much as I feared so far. I would like to see a good ball winning midfielder come in.
2nd. It might be an over reaction, but there seems to be a lack of desire from a number of players. Playing for a trophy at Wembley, and games against Barcelona and PSG I would have hoped to see a bit more intensity. I hope they aren't becoming blasé or feeling that they are now better than they really are, and don't need to work so hard.
I saw no reason to question the desire of PSG or Barcelona players (except Messi)They were all friendlies. Nobody gives 100% passion in a friendly. Don't be a fanny.
That's because you were watching with blinkers on then. Man Utd couldn't be arsed any more than we could yesterday.I saw no reason to question the desire of PSG or Barcelona players (except Messi)
Mendy had won the ball back when the ref blew for full-timeAnd even then the cross was closed down, so no use whatsoever. Even if there was 30 seconds or so left I think the ref knew that they would have scored had that breakaway continued so he blew for full-time. But had the corner gone over there was certainly time for another goal chance possible or even time for a penalty appeal.

That ****ing short corner at the end of the game, I wanted to kill him.
Did Schlupp take it?
You're right, I'm quaking in my boots that people can't keep getting pissed after a day on the lash.Did anyone try to go to a pub after the match only to find a piece of A4 paper on the door saying the Met Police had closed them down at 6pm? I had no idea this was a thing. The level of authoritarianism we have to put up with in the UK is terrifying.

So you can make up excuses for them but not us? We'll have to agree to disagree that you're reading far too much into friendlies. Barca weren't bothered second half either, but no doubt you'll find a reason. The post you quoted didn't mention Man Utd.
Playing at Wembley for a trophy is something unusual to most of our players. José and the Man Utd players may feel it's below them, I don't care, but I feel it should have been sufficient motivation for us.
The biggest twats that I saw were Leicester fans. Post-match, a group of three decided to start a ruck (I believe is the term) against a group of Man Utd fans on the other side of the fence. When they realised that their snarling at the fence wasn't doing anything and that they couldn't reach, they decided to start trying to whip them with their scarves. Watching grown men flailing a half-and-half whilst spewing bile was one of the funniest things I've seen. The police also decided to start antagonising fans outside the Torch pub by forming a line and walking at them with police horses, all was well up until that point.
Biggest annoyance was the classless wankers that are Man Utd fans outside the ground. I saw a fair few who thought they were funny singing songs outside the Leicester end get put in their place.
Good day overall though, I imagine there were a few Leicester fans with sun stroke come the end of the game.
