Booooooo

That was great at the end. Loads of crosses in for Vardy to head home. that lad needs to work on his height, get him on the rack this week. What minute was it when we tried putting tall players in the box other than N'd'idi, who can win headers but never direct them.

ourpossesion flattered to decive, in and around their box for nearly all the 49 minutes - but their keeper only had to make 2(?) saves.
Poor from City, but solid defending from Southampton, they deserved the points

They rarely troubled us but we troubled ourselves. Slow and sloppy start, two amateurish mistakes from Mendy gifted them two goals. After the red they parked the bus and we saw plenty of the ball but a lack of imagination, desire, creativity and urgency meant we were pretty much restricted to pot shots from range.

****ing shit.

Lost to Palace, Cardiff, Newport and now ten man Southampton. That renders the Man City and Chelsea performances moot.

Are we still seventh? Should we still be satisfied?

We are getting worse, not better.

I legit don't know what to say. I have to admit he almost won me over with three very impressive results over the Christmas / New Year period, but he's still staying loyal to some bizarre rigid philosophy and throwing away absolute bread and butter games. Inexcusable defeats really. What's the good in beating Chelsea and Manchester City if you're just going to hand the points over to Southampton, Cardiff, and Crystal Palace?

8th I think. Would be our highest league finish of this season.

Massively disappointing result and just shows how we are desperately short of options and creativity in the middle of the park.

2 inexplicably poor individual errors for their goals.

It was a poor selection but it was also the stable team and unchanged winning team people were after.

I'm not sure where we go from here as long term, I think we are on the right path. Short term wise though, there is clearly a lot of discontent.

Interesting how our away record is so much better than home - possible the players prefer playing away from the pressure at home?

Our build play is so slow, it is painful to watch but what baffled me more than anything was the constant crossing onto the Southampton centre backs heads.
