Consider Yakubu

Now you know how shit the apparently good finishing Nacho is.

Can you imagine Alan Young commentating on Nacho?

Yakubu could have scored a thousand goals and he still would have been lazy and useless. I would much rather he ran his lungs clean out of his body in the first five minutes and been forced to go off having had no real impact on the game. At least he wood of shown pashun like hume and that

****ing loved Yakubu me.

Best striker bar Vardy (and I suppose Kane) we’ve had on our books in last 15 years.

Yep, but he puts some perspective on Nacho for me.

Both supposedly good finishers but Yakubu 10 times the player despite the supposed lazyness of both.

Sorry to disagree, I still think that there is a real striker in Nacho: he simply is not a speed merchant.
I agree.

I’m not writing him off just yet. I think he’s a quality finisher who is bereft of confidence, and we’re giving him no service whatsoever.

I feel like the fans would prefer him to just run round like a headless chicken in the mould of Hume. It would have little to no effect considering the way we play, but it would make the fans happier.

I’d like to see him under a different manager who doesn’t play such turgid, bollockless, shit football at home. A different manager who can put their arm around his shoulder and tell him he’s good enough (like Pearson did to Vardy). If he’s just as shit then, I will gladly write him off.
