Just take a look at Vestergaard for the second Brighton goal.

It begins with him completely out of position. Then when the ball gets played forward, the Leicester defenders and midfield sprint back towards goal.

Well they do except for one lumbering oaf that gently jogged back getting nowhere near the penalty area as the ball hit the net.

He looked knackered by this point; and that's his biggest weakness. We know this which is why if we are going to play him we need to ensure we do so in a system and plan that suits him.

He's still a much, much better defender than Faes or Okoli and has been our best CB since the start of last season.

We need another CB but until that point, Vestergaard is as good as we've got. Him and Coady need to be starting every game.

Oh yes I read it, but your comment ‘he’s shite’ could refer to any number of people. What’s more frightening is that I think you perhaps direct it at the best of the defenders (Ricardo aside because he is injured) we currently have available to us. Chilling.

Agree, only, when he's running, it's difficult spotting the difference between a knackered Vestergaard and fresh as daisy one.

Hmmm. Enzo and Coops didn’t think so. He’s a better organiser IMO, but not a better footballer. It’s close. They are both unquestionably the best pairing we have. Perhaps good reason why we need some reinforcements.

Verstergaard was not even in the penalty area when Minteh finally put the ball in the net. He only had to run from just inside our half.

I'm beginning to see him as like Evans was for us - he might not be the best defender in the squad, but his presence in the team makes the other defenders better.
