Auchentoshan tonight. It's okay but I'm not buying in to all the fuss about it being wonderful I had heard. Next stop, I think we'll travel to the east and open the Yoichi.Ooooooh which scotch?
So take out their entire first team midfield and they aren't as good?...
yes but in our title winning season you could say - take out vardy, and marhez and kante (remember them?)
and what have they got?
Lots of discussion on MotD about the tactical switch by Puel communicated by note via Maddison. It certainly seemed to have an effect.
After all the criticism I've levelled at him, I do genuinely hope that some lessons have been learned by Puel during the last two games. We are so much better when we attack at pace and when we have the right players in the right positions. I've no problem with him changing the team to suit the opposition there needs to be method behind the madness. Carry on in this way and the bastard will have me liking him.
Can any team realistically do this? They have good cover in most positions but you can't have fantastic, world class players sitting on your bench. Eventually, they will want to play. You could take three players out of every single team in every single league and make them markedly worse in every single way so it seems a very odd thing to contemplate. Take Virgil Van Dijk, Mo Salah and Alisson out of the Liverpool team and regardless of what replacements they have, they would be significantly weaker. Take Kane, Alderwiereld and Eriksen out of the Spurs team and it's the same story. The difference being that you would expect a team with Man. City's resources to have more than adequate cover in all positions.
Calm down Corporal Jones or you’ll have a funny turnWhat's all this "to a man" stuff? Great result. They don't like it up 'em and for once we remembered that!
Looks worse than what it was though.View attachment 14549 That tackle ...

Had some of that in Glasgow back in October and it was just OK. Then I tried Ardbeg and it was top of my Christmas list.Auchentoshan tonight. It's okay but I'm not buying in to all the fuss about it being wonderful I had heard. Next stop, I think we'll travel to the east and open the Yoichi.
You did just fine there. All the best people have difficulty spelling Leicester's number 8.
