Jamie Vardy has not scored in his seven games for Leicester on Boxing Day.

More effort and class from both sides than I have seen in many Boxing Day games.

strangely BT initially had Ricardo named as a sub, or did he get injured in the warm up and drop out?

You know, I kinda like that we are ignored in the 'big club' debates. Let the pundits and rentagobs etc spout their beliefs - they're just perpetuating a view for know-little fans.

An example; according to the commentator I was listening to, Ndidi goes under the radar for us - apparently he does a lot of work and nobody notices. Sorry, you what? I think every ****er with half a football brain knows just how important he is to us. That kind of shit makes me want to mute the commentary - it's air-filling garbage.

the Forest fan is an awful commentator to be fair

Tielemans was outstanding today, absolutely outstanding.

A word for Albrighton as well who was also superb and has been for the past few times we have seen him. I thought Barnes was a threat all game and they looked scared of him. I don't get the hyperbolic Maddison criticisim; he wasn't at his best, that's for sure but he wasn't bad. Sometimes I think it is easy to miss all of the little things he does to move play forward. Ndidi was also good although a little sloppy at times with his passing which is unlike him.

That ball from Perez for our second was excellent and once again he proves his worth to the squad.

All in all, I'd have taken a draw, especially given the way Manchester United had played coming into this. Being able to bring Cavani on is simply ridiculous.... we have Iheanacho......

thanks for reminding me, we can name 9 subs, 8 outfield players and only had 2 and a half attacking options on the bench? where were Under, Gray and Slimani? I know the latter 2 are counting the days until they leave but they are in the 25 man squad so use them, otherwise what was the point naming them could have picked some of the U23 attackers to make up the numbers instead...

Gray and Slimani not in consideration at all and they’ll be protected to ensure a move in Jan if possible. Right call.

Under is a weird one. Especially when we had two left backs and two defensive midfielders on the bench.

Protecting Gray is the right move if Under is fit and available, which if he is makes the choice of subs even more strange, if not don't leave yourself short ...

Will be interesting to see how/if Under is involved on Monday.

As it stands I’m not sure we are going to spring the cash for him in the summer.
