Norwich were comfortably the best team I've seen this season. They totally did a job on us. They were strong but played good football. I hope they go up.

If only so we don't have to play them again next season?

There was much that was poor about tonights game. However, I will take away three positives
(1) Kyle Naughton did some superb play - he did not deserve to be on the losing side
(2) Gally's freelick was excellent - it deserved to matter
(3) After the match I overheard a nice young lady on her mobile phone telling people that she had won a trip to Thailand. Normally I feel that mobile phones should only be used in the privacy of people's own homes but this was quite delightful.

Where do you sit? I am in SK4 and honestly didn't hear anything of that nature.

L1 were chanting "faggot" at one point (not me though) so I assume that's what PR is referring to. Not sure what the club can/will do about it.

To be honest I think our fans hostility to oppposing players is not as much of an issue as the attitude towards our own players. Booing Ricardo is not going to solve anything whatsoever, it has now been made clear who the fans prefer, nothing positive will be achieved by continuing the booing. I do wonder if people would be so readily lauding Weale should he be given a starting berth and going on to cost us points. It is a bit of an embarrassment really. As pointed out on FT, in a rare speckle of sense amidst a sea of idiocy, the Norwich fans were singing 'your support is ****ing shit' and they may well have had a point.

I don't feel you've grasped the concept of a mobile phone...

Almost forgot the quote from the bloke sitting behind me as Holt was about to take the penalty which sums some of our fans up.

"what bloody chance have we got with that idiot in goal, I bet he's never saved a penalty in his career"

Priceless.

That was a truly dreadful performance

Woeful in every way

A stupid team selection and we got exactly what we deserved

Season over

Careful, you might get called a knob head by a certain poster for that viewpoint.

Still, season over.

Im a sad bastard, I was out diving today in the bay islands in Honduras and had a mate record the game commentary, just wasted 2 hours listening to that shit.

She sits about 3 seats away from me (diagonally). She wasn't in her seat when the announcement was made, when she came back she was surrounded by smiles and congratulations. It gave our group of supporters something to cheer about.

Shithot. Had to make up for that peno miss at the weekend.

It appears my Dad is a football predicting genius. After calling Waghorn's winner against Bristol, he said Gallagher would score his free kick when it was awarded.
I remember that. Right under the posts it was too, which made the crucial conversion easy.

I, er... You... Erm... What?

Anyway, about Ricardo. He Certainly wasn't to blame for the first two. How a player like Hoolahan can go completely unmarked from a corner is beyond me. Ben Mee's leg shouldn't have been where it was, nailed on penalty, well hit. After the third goal, Wellens and Bamba were right in each other's faces having a full-on bawl at each other. Says it all about how that one came about. That said, without having seen it again I thought Ricardo should have been better placed. He was easily beaten at his near post. In addition to this, his distribution wasn't as good as it has been - his occasional kicking is aimless. Still good with bowling the ball out and makes some good saves, but on the other hand he flaps at crosses and rarely catches a ball. I keep flipping on this one. I'm glad I don't have to make these decisions. I reckon I'd keep him. Or get rid.

Bamba could have seen red twice. He and Mee kept bumping into each other like a couple of blokes who'd never played before. Vassell looked like the only possible origin of a goal... and then he got subbed.

Oakley could have been shown red too, a few minutes before he was booked. Berner was frightening. Except for a couple of early challenges he did nothing right. Wellens did well, and I think last night was the first time he's ever headed a ball.

Norwich were better all over from start to finish. Can't complain too much.

I was right behind this and I don't see what more he could have done.

He had the shot covered until it hit Mee's leg.

Was this the same Mee's leg that cost us a penalty? Or the other Mee's leg?

I wouldn't complain at all, even if as looks likely our push has well and truly fizzled out and mid-table mediocrity beckons.

What I can't stand is how this team is suddenly looking remarkably like Sousa mark 2. That passage of play from the restart to their second only needed SGE to appear in a gilet to qualify as a bad taste entry for Let's Dance for Comic Relief.

In the vain hope that we might start to emulate the modest accomplishments of NP's team's run in this time last year, cutting out the back four's increasing tendency to gallop forward with the ball, give it away and then find no cover and not fast enough to track back would be a fine start.

The full back are having to gallop forward because in this ridiculous system we have no width without them

Naughton did exceptionally well last night, but both he and Berner were left hopelessly exposed

It was sheer madness

that system dont work, why didnt he change it. whats the point in bringing gally pants on to play holding mid. there was so much space down the flanks but the system left unable to utilise it.
