2-2

Own goal from a Dyer cross-shot and then Nugent for us.

Dodgy pen to level for them.

Gutted. Ever since Whitbread has come in our defence has looked a shadow of its former self.

Normally I'd be fuming at the penalty decision but our pathetic efforts in finishing a team off at 2-1 up has me more ****ed off than the cheating ref.

Very frustrating.

Thought we played well and deserved the win. Bad penalty call and then denied one we could've had at the other end. But we wasted chances (mainly through Waghorn a bit through Knockaert) that would've made it irrelevant. Annoying!

I feel cheated..how the blind twat missed the handball I don't know.

Oh and don Goodman, feck right off with your twatty mate beagrie. Grrrrrrr

Not a penalty but Whitbread didn't need to make the tackle. If he stayed on his feet the referee wouldn't have had a decision to make, so it was pretty naive on Whitbread's part despite getting the ball.

I thought Waghorn played ok in build up but again he was poor in front of goal. He was unlucky with his header but he should have hit that shot first time which ended up being cleared off the line. By taking a couple of touches he gave the defender the opportunity to get back. Really annoyed that we only took a point and we're starting to slip now. Generally a good performance but we need another striker quick. Lingaard looks a bit too lightweight for me.

2 cleared off the line... Fairly unlucky to me. Never a pen but Zak should have stayed on his feet!

David Pleat at King Power Stadium for BBC Radio 5 live"That challenge looked slightly innocuous to me, but the referee was very close so I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. But looking at it again, that was not a penalty. The attacker stumbled then lost control of the ball, and then the defender got the ball. Nigel Pearson is shaking his head. With the penalty, it was low to Schmeichel's left and he had no chance. It was a fortuitous penalty to get awarded."

Still screaming out for a proper striker. Whitbread is rash and his positioning is poor.

Very soft penalty and we should have had one for handball. If Waghorn was able to do even the basics with his right foot we'd be celebrating. You just can't expect to win games consistently if he is a regular in your side. Yakubu would've had a hattrick today.

I think we need to put this into perspective. Whilst very frustrating and two points dropped, it is another game where we have outplayed the opposition and have shown plenty of promise. Another day that would have been 3-1.

Does anybody think St Ledger will get his place back. Also, please can we borrow a Tony Cottee from somewhere?

Utter crap decision making by the ref, continually applauded by Don Goodman, Cate, fancy tracking him down for a "word" later?? lol

To be honest I don't know what people have against Don Goodman. I think he was fairly unbiased throughout. He didn't say it was a penalty

Whitbread is Matt Mills reinvented by the looks of it. Decent at winning balls in the air and throwing himself in front of the ball, but poor positioning, makes rash challenges, doesn't bother trying to direct his headers and an absolutely shocking hoof merchant with the ball at his feet.

I hope I never have the misfortune to be in the same place as him, that's for sure. I'm glad my stream cut off before I had to listen to Beagrie or I'd be bouncing around the room by now.

On Waghorn...

On that performance, I can see why he's in the team, but can also see why people write him off! Think he played really well in the build-up.... good movement, good passing, found space well, closed down and worked very hard for the team. But, wasted every chance he got on goal (bar the header possibly, which forced a good save). Frustrating to see him spurn so many chances, but we wouldn't have created nearly as much (for him or others) if he hadn't been there today it seemed!

A more clinical striker though and we wouldn't have needed to create so many! If Waghorn stays in the team, I really hope he gets a goal soon, as some of it did look like he was nervous in front of goal.

Agree with that, but I'm just really irritated at how many points we are dropping when playing well. The decisions today were dire, and was not impressed with Whitbread - first time I'd seen him.
