Because some miserable ****er will moan about that as well, oh no they already did when they did some amazing displays in the Champions League.

I'm delighted they keep it up, would be absolutely toss down that ground if it wasn't for them trying g to keep the atmosphere ticking.

The atmosphere might be best if they got rid of the fans altogether and just put tifo's all around the stadium and piped crowd noise over the tannoy.

It’s nothing to do with atmosphere and everything to do with disregarding the wishes and needs of hundreds of other fans just so they can have their moment of attention. They’ve even put a feckin’ video on YouTube.

No, they’d be cobbling together some giant filthy piece of plastic because they think paying for a season ticket means they’ve bought the right to block the view of almost an entire stand. Did they ask anyone about medical conditions beforehand? Did they consider claustrophobia, autism, anxiety? Did they make sure everyone would be healthy and happy living under a plastic sheet for several minutes? Did they ****. They just did what they wanted without giving a shit.

Not really. In the video, are ya?

Haha chill out, no need to get so annoyed just because someone doesn't agree with you.

So you honestly think there main objective for this was just to annoy other fans?? They're doing it to get the club noticed rather than themselves.

And you honestly think the club didn't see them setting it up in the car park for hours before? And they then somehow snuck it in without any stewards noticing? Of course the club would have know and decided, like every other club, it is not going to kill anyone and whilst you always get a silly few who love a moan about anything, the majority would enjoy it.

And no, I'm not in the video. This is the first I have saw of it but thought it was a good effort and appreciate people trying to make a better atmosphere down there rather than just trying to find something to moan about.

Nice thinly veiled insult at the end though, you don't always have to try and come across superior to others you know.

Why do you imagine I’m annoyed? You’re reading tone that isn’t there.

No. Attention, thought I was clear about that. It’s just a guess though, really. It doesn’t really matter why though. Intent means nothing.

Agree to disagree I suppose. How will a piece of filthy plastic get the club noticed in a way that, say, winning the league in 2016 didn’t?

I actually said none of these things.

Great, could you answer my questions above and, taking the outlined concerns into account, explain why this is a good idea?

Wait, so was it to “get the club noticed”, whatever that means, or for atmosphere?

Nice thinly veiled insult at the end though, you don't always have to try and come across superior to others you know.

It wasn’t an insult, it was a stab in the dark about why you were defending this thoughtless ****ery.

Probably, Leicester fans are very boring.

I thought it looked good from where I sit in the West Stand and so did my lad. I appreciate that this might not help those underneath it though.

Sounds like a massive communal gimp suit to me, what's not to like?

I can’t see why they can’t hoist it up to hang from the top of the stand?

I can't see why they can't stick it up their arses & **** off home.

I'm firmly in the curmudgeon camp on this one. I've been watching football for well over 40 years & the game has always been enough for me. This kind of bullshit belongs in the NFL or other sporting arenas that involve large amounts of time where **** all is happening. If people have modern short attention spans then **** about on your phone for a few minutes, tweet a meme, have a wank in the bogs or something. Keep it to yourself. If I was sat in a cinema & some **** dumped a tarpaulin on my head as the film was starting he'd be thrown out. Same principle applies here. Watch the ****ing football or **** off.

I personally find the wankers on their phone all game more of an annoyance than a pre game display of support.

Oh and football isn't the football from 40 years ago in many ways, this is probably one of the least shit differences though.

There was a guy who sat next to me half of the time during the title season who shared the ticket with a friend or his brother or someone who I don’t think even liked football, let alone supported Leicester. Spent the entire thing texting his girlfriend and checking his bets and barely got off his arse when we scored.

What was the point with the banner?
