The larger argument, I think, is that the personnel of the back 5 allows Rodgers to make these in game adjustments to shape without making substitutions.

I think he likes having players on the pitch that can play in multiple positions. Fuchs, Ndidi, Justin and to a lesser degree Albrighton allow that change.

For example he moved Fuchs from CB to LB, Justin from LB to RB/RWB and Albrighton from RWB to LW.

No, according to a lot of people on here he shouldn’t be playing so what does he know?!

He came out after the game and said Rodgers switched it to a back four. Said it was a bit surprising that we did it so Soon into the match, but that shows how adaptable they all are as they quickly dropped into formation and everyone knew their role straightaway

But as you say, what does he know compared to your genius insight

Got to say that it seemed a fairly obvious switch imo.

Justin clearly started LWB but soon switched to the right.

Great call from BR too, quite remarkable we're only one point off the top of the league despite having such an awful manager.

Let’s not forget, there is a groundswell of Rodgers out in the other thread so no credit to him

Not my genius at all. Many on here don’t want Maddison in the team or even Rodgers as manager

The switch in formation was quite clearly confirmed in the post match interviews, too.

Great performance all round. Albrighton rolling back the years. Justin was outstanding. Maddison class. The short corners thing shows those at the club have been taking criticism constructively.

Justin has probably been our best player over the 4-5 matches imo.

He's certainly staking a claim for his place in the team, even when Timmy and Ricardo come back.

Even more impressive that he's played in 3-4 different positions too.

Player of the season frontrunner for me

"Groundswell"? A couple of forum saddos who only post when we lose is hardly a groundswell.

Ok agree ‘groundswell’ maybe have been a slight exaggeration but Christ, people need a reality check sometimes. We are Leicester City not Barcelona. Some people need to remember who/what we are before spouting this shit.
