It's odd to see some turning this into some pro-Claudio vs anti-Claudio rivalry. It's perfectly possible to be delighted to see us win again and at the same feel betrayed that these players have not delivered until now.
There is not a SINGLE post prior to yours stating this case.

We will never know for certain what has been happening 'behind the scenes', but clearly something has been happening. The rumour mill will no doubt go into overdrive yet again, but whatever it was ( or is) something changed tonight. Effort levels highest all season, Fuchs in particular had his best game of the season, ( in my opinion), as did Vardy by a considerable margin. As said in other posts Ndidi is a fantastic player, 20 years old, the sky's the limit for that young man. Disappointed with Mahrez, clearly being marked by two and sometimes three players, he has to find a different way of playing which utilises his fantastic skills and that's down to the coaching staff to help him. My nerves where shot when the game got to 80 minutes, you could see the whole game going pear shaped in the last 10 plus stoppage time I wonder how the players felt? Just going to enjoy reading positive reports about the game rather than the normal doom and gloom which epitomizes this season.

20000% more effort, criminal really.

Still, my team won. See how they do in the real acid test against Hull

Maybe they thought the management were taking the piss by not letting them play as they wanted to which had brought so much success last year.... that could be bollocks of course but no more so than your statement.
Again, I agree the team was happy to be out there with a freedom to play as they wanted and how they play best and the fear that's dogged some of them for so much of this season seemed to evaporate right from the first minute. Everyone, with the exception of Mahrez, put in a fantastic shift.
Mahrez has lost his confidence, but did you notice it grow as the match progressed. last 10minutes Mahrez started to contribute like he did last season. A couple more matches and he will be back to his old ways.
We are safe and we are back

We will probably never find out what went on at city, but we can be sure that something was seariously wrong and the fact that Shackspear knew all he had to do was get the players to do what they did best shows where the problem lay.

Wonderful, but shameful but, then again, it was feckin ace, wasn't it ?

Apart from Mahrez, they were all fantastic

Brilliant to see, sickening to see, stinking feckin wonderful to see

'tis football, after all

And I loves it

imo Ndidi's performance ie protecting the defence, made a huge difference tonight .Huth and Morgan were able to stay put rather than wander out marking space leaving gaps behind.

They were all great. Ndidi slotted in right where Kante left off. Mahrez still a bit off last season's levels. He looked better than he has all this season, but his final ball was often a bit of a let down and his defensive work was still a bit lazy. Still, we did see a few bits of that Mahrez magic. Good change to swap him for Gray, but surprised it wasn't done sooner.

It is possible to have loads of love and gratitude towards Ranieri for last season and still think that he absolutely deserved the sack for making a complete mess of this season.

It's nobodies fault but his own. Tonight showed that our team is still there and they can still beat anyone. There's only one man that has been holding us back.

Really? I didn't know that. Maybe it's because I posted it three minutes after the final whistle?

So who were you referencing?

Once again, BN bounces back and hits nails on head.

Acid test will be Hull. The kind of team that sits back that we struggle more against.. Bit of a 6 pointer to boot!
