Some good performances tonight. Castagne, Faes and Ndidi (first half) were excellent. Maddison was outstanding and thank you to Steve Cooper for leaving him unmarked throughout. Very generous of you.

The crowd backed the side more than they deserved. The team put a shift in and we put away a woeful opponent. We should be finishing at least 30 points ahead of them.

Rodgers appeared more like his old self on the touchline. The bottom lip seemed to be pulled back in and maybe his golf holiday has done him some good.

We have to be realistic. Notts Forest were beyond inept. And yet they could easily have scored two or three against us and our bottle would have gone. You could sense how vulnerable we are. We now have to go to Bournemouth and win and then win again to repair some of the damage this start has made. We still look like we can be opened up with two decent passes or one decent run against us. We need the confidence of a few wins and a consistent line up to get our season going.

Was a very enjoyable night all round - from watching Maddison right at the top of his game, through to watching poor little Notts - truly the most pathetic side we’ve seen in many a year. It was almost embarrassing that we only scored four, let’s be honest.

Few observations
- When we play on the front foot, the crowd will get behind them. Atmosphere tonight was excellent (spoilt only by the singing pricks in the corner doing the Ulloa song on about eighty minutes. Bunch of twats)
- James Maddison is just ****ing wonderful when he’s on it
- James Justin is just ****ing awful, full stop.
- Jamie Vardy is way off it
- These players are still playing for the Manager, that is obvious
- Despite everything, we still gifted them two or three nailed on scoring opportunities that any other team in this league would have taken
- Notts Florist are a complete ****ing shambles. Hilarious stuff

Onwards and Upwards with Big Bollocked Brendan’s Blistering Blue Army

"The evening was significant enough for Leicester chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha to fly in from Thailand to watch the team his family bankrolled to their memorable Premier League title in 2016".

Bankrolled? Really? Seems a bit unfair.

Forest get battered everywhere they go....

What a ****ing piece of piss that was. They are truly and completely ****ing shit.

Back to where they historically belong at the end of this season.

Madders is on another level and Gareth Southgate is a useless **** who should be kicked in the bollocks for the rest of his day's.

Walking past the forest busses as they all stood there looking sad and pretending to be hard was beautiful.

Can we play these useless ****s every week?

They didn't start that fyi

I love how when questioned about Ward, Rodgers diverted attention to the backline as a whole. Perfect opportunity for him to back his #1 in, but he chose to deflect. He knows he's shit and a massive weak link

Why? What more should he have done?!
When he shit his pants twice and refused to come for the ball.

Other than that nothing because we were playing a Championship team at best.

What’s the best bit of that?
The goals?
The clean sheet?
The fact it was Forest?
The fact we’re not bottom any more?
The fact it was Forest. Definitely!

Madders will be playing somewhere else next season. Fair ****s to the lad if he keeps us up. He clearly wanted to stay on for the hattrick but can understand (other than Brendan wants out, obvs) why we'd take him off.
I think he was taken off because the ref would have sent him off of we hadn't. He was that kind of ref. Forest knew it too; g they took all three of their booked players off. Maddison's booking was ridiculous in the extreme.

Expected goals 1.33 v 1.10. The different was the quality of finishing tonight.
...and the defending. ...and the goal keeping. ...and the effort and enthusiasm. ...and Maddison.
You really do talk bollocks at times.
