Anyone other than Huth, Morgan, Drinkwater, Vardy and Fuchs.

And I mean anyone

I just hope we don't just chuck this away as we did Porto away. A defeat against Derby would be an awful and dispiriting preparation for the Swansea game. Any win and some goals would surely be a good thing.

I can't see Kapustka getting a game. Ranieri didn't even bring him on when it was game over today - a perfect opportunity to see what he can do.

I'd go with:

Schmeichel

Simpson
Benalouane
Wague
Chilwell

Albrighton
N'Didi
Choudhury
Gray

Okazaki
Vardy

I don't give a **** which bunch of duffers are picked for this one. The only important game this week is at Swansea. And Ranieri should, he won't but he should, make 10 changes from the United line-up, with only Ndidi keeping his starting place. And yes that includes Schmeichel being dropped.

Whatever beef people have with Schmeichel ought be put aside I feel. His is perhaps the only position where the alternative really is unthinkable.

Despite the faults you might see, he does at least care. Zeiller looks to me like the kid taking his turn in goal when he really wants to be an outfielder.

definate starters Benny Wague if available Chilwell Albrighton Armartey if available Mendy Kapuska Gray , i wouldnt risk Slimani its more important he plays sunday. Doesnt matter what formation or how we perform WE MUST WIN THIS TO RESTORE SOME KIND OF PRIDE/HOPE the think im hoping for is a change in players attitudes Maybe we need a shrink in the dressing room to get into thier heads or even the return of the monks. imo getting Frank Lampard into the group (not as a player) but a coach/advisor, hed be good just to have around the place But remember its only Derby (injury hit) we can beat these however bad we currently are3-1 Kapuska Gray Ndidi

Gotta drop fuchs, huth, morgan, drinkwater, mahrez and vardy Imo. Call it 'resting' them if he prefers. Musa + Slim up front. Amartey and Wague ar CB. Mendy + Ndidi in CM. Gray over Mahrez and Albrifhton on the other side. Simpson keeps his place by virtue of not being that bad.

Seriously Claudio. If you want to keep your job, these are the big underperforming culprits right now. Drop them.

It's too much beef that's the problem. He's now diving at the same speed as Kevin Pressman and most of his kicks don't make the half way line.

Out of shape himself and yet pontificating about everyone and everything. He's every bit as bad as any of the other losers.

Again wrong thinking. This game is very important. We NEED a win and we NEED to score. A loss to lower league crap and we spiral further out of control. The season starts here and this time we need to try and win every game. No cherry picking.

Watch a video of him from last season and then compare it to yesterday. It's startling. He's markedly heavier and slower.

But he knows how to run up the pitch for the last minute corner.

Why does he do that? He's no giant and surely doesn't think he's better than most of the other outfield players.

Agree with this wholeheartedly.

We are not in a too dissimilar position to the great escape season although we have a few more games to play.

We need to have 16 or so cup final performances. One game at a time, in terms of the league we need an overall sequence of WDLWDL and so on.

This would give us around 20 points and overall therefore of 41. 38 points will probably be enough to stay up this season though.

The win at Everton didn't kick start our season, so why would a win against Derby be different?

This game is so far from being important.

You underestimate the effect of losing to a team in a lower division than us.

What good do you think comes of it?

We have to try and build some kind of winning mentality from somewhere.

We should be happy at the opportunity.
